I received the Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender yesterday, and it has already made a huge impression! My wife is so happy with it, and we’re both impressed with how well it works. It blends everything smoothly and efficiently, just as advertised.The 48-ounce container is perfect for our needs, and the self-cleaning feature is a great bonus—it’s so easy to use. This makes a great gift. We have used this for years, easy to use, easy to clean. The 5 preset blending program makes it very simple to use. The build quality is excellent and was not cheaply built. Yes, it is expensive and an investment that will last for many years.

I've always heard about how nice Vitamix blenders are but I was always putting off trying one because of the plastic vessel - I prefer glass. However, after trying this blender I can say it mixes much better than I have experienced before trying a Vitamix blender. I would prefer glass but the plastic shape does the job very well.
