I had a project of repairing some counter chairs where the cross beams had been badly chewed by our puppies. I got this Jute rope with the idea of winding it around the cross beams after placing a bead of hot glue on the dross beam. The results look good. So good that it looks like the chairs were made this way.The rope did exactly what I was hoping for. It is thick enough for this job, but not so wide as to not easily wrap around the beams. The rope holds together fairly well when cut, but some glue will help keep the end from becoming too frayed.I would not use this rope for heavy jobs, but for most purposes this will work just fine.

This rope is the perfect weight and width for everyday use and crafts. I used it to braid a belt for a Viking Costume. It worked perfectly. Macrame comes to mind for some plants that need to soon come in! A great price for making expensive items. You can't go wrong! Also arrived quickly.

I could be stupid and say "Rope is rope" and write nothing. But that's not helpful to anyone. So, I will compare to past Rope I've purchased. I use such a little amount of this rope that it's been many years since I needed any. I was pleased to find this rope on Amazon because it seemed like a good price AND it also feels and acts just like rope I purchased many years ago. Most things in life feel like a lessor quality when purchasing now compared to many years ago. This rope seems the same quality as I've always expected, and I feel it will work out great for my needs. I hope you have the same luck with it that I did. Enjoy.

Used it to repair a scratching post for that cats, the material is solid but the strands do separate easily when you cut it.

Dickes Seil. Hab es zum Dekorieren und im Garten verwendet. Die Lieferzeit war etwas lang aber dass warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Seil ist Robust und Reißfest.

My cat Theo demolished the previous cat tree clawing through the rope and then the cardboard poles. It dropped to pieces. The newer one was going the same way, so I decided to try the jute and it has saved the poles.

Tolle Qualität, wenig Flusen und kaum intensiver Geruch (Seilgeruch, ist aber in der Wohnung nach 2 Tagen nicht mehr vorhanden). Bin super zufrieden, auch wenn der Efeu vllt hätte fürs Bild etwas mehr gegossen werfen müssen :D
