This was a nice binder. The d-rings opened easily. The only downside is that they’re not as wide as other binders. Okay if you just want paper in it but the tabs and page protectors extended beyond the edge of the binder.

These 2" White Binders with the Slant D 3 Rings have a clear cover on the outside front where you can put a picture, or paper to display on the front cover, you would be able to use an 8 1/2" x 11" paper. The side of the binder as well has a plastic cover so you can put a tab a little less than 2" for a side label. However, due to the hardware used to attach the 3 Ring section of the binger on the back you would NOT be able to put a picture/cover that would be 8 1/2 by 11" as the hardware will get in the way. You would probably only be able to use a paper or picture that was 6" wide. This is also not a high gloss clear cover, more of a slight textured look, still clear, just not glossy.The front and back covers are not as strong as I would have expected for the price point. If you are picking up the binder and press too hard you will be able to feel the covers bend in slightly, so over time and depending on how full you fill these binders I am not sure how long they will hold up to the wear and tear. If just using for storage and not using often should be fine, heavy use, may be more issues.The Slant D 3 Ring seems to work fine so far. Has the latch to open which works fine. Nice feature.I am not sure if you were to order the smaller binders if they would be sturdier since you would not be putting so much paperwork in them, but my review is for the 2" binders as those are the ones I ordered. I will give them a 4 based on the strength of the covers not being the strongest.
