This powerful 1/2" NPT air valve with exceptional high flow delivers unparalleled performance for 12V vehicles. The unique design provides high pressure control at minimal power consumption. Valve supports pressures of up to 210 PSI and is constructed with high quality brass to ensure continuous use through extreme conditions. Solenoid is pre-wired, a metal mounting bracket is included, and the air flow direction is clearly marked with an arrow to provide an easy trouble-free installation.

Internally the valve did not have a retraction spring attached, so the valve would not close and hold air. I would have just sent it back but being short on time I took it apart to see if it was something simple. The diaphragm has a nub that a retraction spring clips around and the spring assists another smaller extending spring in the center of the armature holding the diaphragm closed. I reconnected the spring and it works now.

Product says normally closed. Very upset!! I hook mine up to air, no power connected, it is stuck open, cycled many times with 12 volt power still stuck wide open scared the crap out of me with train horns.
