Worked to fix a compressor that ran until the pop off valves opened. I’m happy. New update June 23 2019. This worked for about 6 months and now it’s doing what this was supposed to fix. It runs until a 185 psi pop off switch opens. It failed to turn off the pressure reached through the primary side of a relay controlled air compressor.

It works as intended. I would buy again.

I purchased this for my on board air system. It had a 200 psi max and I didn’t want to push the system that hard. This was a perfect fit. Keeps the psi just below 150psi. No more worries.

Arrived very fast and just as described. This is the 2nd replacement switch (not from the same seller) that I've ordered in the past 7 months for the air horn system on my truck. They seem to have a relatively short life span as after a few months, they tend to stay open / on longer causing the compressor to run almost constantly ultimately requiring me to disconnect the switch until replacement

I bought this to replace the 90 to 120 pressure regulator switch that came with my original air system. I simply removed the old one and installed this one along with a new PRV and everything worked perfectly

The rating is for the switch this one replaced which is supposedly the same switch from the same company. This is a replacement for the original which failed on a set of air horns on a boat. The original lasted about 9 years in a marine environment. The failure mode of the original was bad. It failed in the "on" position. It wouldn't shut off and the compressor would run until the compressor maxed out. Fortunately my tank is rated for 200 psi because that is what the gauge was reading when I caught it. The relief poppet valve sourced from the same company had rusted. Anyway, this may or may not apply to the new switch after 9 years because I don't know whether they are purchasing the switches from the same place or if they have changed the design. I now check the gauge when the compressor shuts off, listen to make sure it shuts off, and manually pull the relief valve to make sure it is working. All nothing to do with this switch, but all which would not be necessary if the failure mode was in the "off" and not the "on" position.
