First off, I had no idea this ball would be as big as it is. It's hip high on some of my students - and does not 'play' like the kickballs they are used to. It's big, it's bouncy - and it's heavy enough that its trajectory is never quite as expected.It can knock the smaller 5th graders down - but it moves slowly enough that they can easily get out of the way. That being said, I've seen my own life flash before my eyes a time or two, when I was speaking with a child or a fellow staff member when a particularly strong kicker lobbed the thing my way. Fortunately, kids have (so far) managed to scream my name and get my attention, giving me time to nonchalantly (or not so nonchalantly) step out of the way.After multiple uses each day for a month, and countless admonishments NOT to use the ball for a beanbag chair, the thing has deflated a little (just a little!) and is not quite perfectly round - but that only adds to its charm.Two of my classes play kickball with it; the other two make up games that resemble Calvin's Rules games (remember Calvin and Hobbes?) The rules and procedures change daily, it seems. I know *I* can't keep up!Bottom line - my students have gotten a whole lot of FUN out of this giant kickball. It has inspired teamwork, creativity and a priceless amount of laughter and good will for my kids, and therefore, for me as well.

I got this for a halloween costume and I am very happy with the product. I will probably use it as a dog toy or something of the like.The product was only $6 and for that price you get a quality rubber dodgeball (or whatever purpose you need it for). I had no issues what so ever.Only note is make sure you have a needle and pump to inflate it. It does not come with that.

Seems a little pricey for a playground ball, but I gotta admit this thing is cool! I even get out there with the kids and play. Ball has seen some serious use and seems to be holding up nicely. Kids love the bigger size and this ball is VERY bouncy.I do recommend, your kids are going to love this ball.

Rocco LOVED this ball until he stuck a tooth through it. Then he loved it even more. He was bummed when he popped it, but once he figured out how to shake the hell out of it and chew it to pieces he was elated.Ordered him a new, larger one. Will pump it up so he can't bite it.

Terrible product. Came with a fold in the rubber. Upon inflation, the ball felt like I could put my finger through it. I pressed on the ball to see how it felt and my hand went through the rubber - the ball ripped in half. See the photos.The retailer was a pain to deal with, confusing responses and slow process. Thank goodness Amazon is no-nonsense and stepped in to clean up the return/refund.I also bought (and returned) the PG16, that ball is slightly better/more durable, but still garbage. The PG16 playground ball has a bad texture that wants to flake off and an oblong shape when inflated. Keep looking

I bought a 5" ball, and the one that was shipped to me is green, which looks great. I bought it for reasons other than kids' play, but my kids (now teenagers) have a blast throwing it back and forth, and my dog wants to claim ownership on it also. I never thought of purchasing balls like this when my kids were young, but I can see how it would have been a great idea.The ball holds air fabulously. It is firm, bounces high and is just great.

Came with a hole and did not hold air. Was offered a partial refund!? Seriously? What good is a ball with a hole and a partial refund.

This is a great, durable, high bouncing playground ball that's just right for little hands. My 2yo and 6yo love it. It's great for all kinds of games. We use it primarily outdoors year round. It would be great in a gym but otherwise too big and bouncey for indoors.

Great solid ball, just a lot smaller than I thought it would be. That's my fault though. This ball is about size of a 5pin bowling ball.
