These lights are easy to install and look great. The 25ft lead wire is very generous and I never ran out of length. These may be on the pricier end of landscape lighting, but you really get what you pay for. I installed them on either side of two entrance gates and along some fencing. The soft light is enough to see when coming and going, but not overpowering or too much. The glass plate is frosted, so it tones down the light just the right amount. Highly recommend these if you are considering landscape lighting.

Built very solidly, easy to install, zero complaints about build quality. Getting the front cover off was a frustrating challenge as others have said. Here is what finally worked for me: insert the ends of the handles on a pair of pliers into the openings in the back, one in each hole. This stabilizes the unit pretty well, but don’t insert too far to avoid damaging the internal fixture. Then grasp the semicircular part of the front cover and twist counterclockwise, it should move about 1/4 turn. Then alternate back and forth between turning clockwise and counterclockwise until it loosens up enough to pull out, it took me 3-4 cycles per unit. Hey Volt folks, maybe include a plastic handle to do the same thing to reduce frustration?

Beautiful & well made , just started w/ this , gotta finish some details like cover bottom post w/ Manila rope to cover mount & make a bronze brass cap after cutting top post to be level.

I have other deck lights made by Kichler, but this is far superior. The build construction is insanely rugged. Also, the replaceable led light bulb is genius. I like that a quarter turn opens the unit. My only minor complaint is that opening the unit the first time is really difficult. Overall the best unit you can get in my opinion.
