I've ordered two replacement rectifier/voltage regulators from Amazon and neither of them worked. These devices are supposed to convert the 30 - 35 volt A/C output of my mower's alternator to 13.5 volts D/C, and neither of the two have done this properly. Thus, I have concluded that they were just Chinese junk.

I was able to bring my Hustler Super Z back to life. It was draining rather than charging batteries. I was getting 0 volts on the AC wires. After installing, right away I got like 26volts AC. Cut the rest of the yard with no issues.
