I got this regulator for the looks alone since I was gutting it for a 3g alternator swap. It looks good and hasn't rusted. I'd imagine it would work fine, but I can't speak to the actual functionality.

It wasn't listed as a replacement for a Ford 305 marine application, but I gave it a try. Plug and play success, voltage is bring regulated at 45 mph on open water.

This voltage regulator solved the fluctuating voltage output on the 1967 Tbird I'm working on. The construction is more sturdy than the 57 year old factory original. A very good value for the price.
