This is really helpful for picking fruit. The bottom straps must be really tight. The first time i used, the fruit fell out the bottom. Now it’s fine.

I grew a pretty big Garden this year for the first time. When it came time to harvest everything it was very difficult to get it all in one trip. Tomatoes peas potatoes etc etc. I used the bucket but I knew there had to be something better so I looked up this apron and it completely changed the game for harvesting my veggies. It's pretty durable it seems like it'll last multiple seasons. And when I say I have had it loaded completely down I mean probably 30 to 40 lb of produce and it handled it like a champ. If you're a gardener and you have even a medium sized Garden then this is a must have for me.

And advertise that it can handle vegetables however a tomato is considered too heavy and when I put my tomatoes in the pouch since it only has two buckles on the side, the center is a weak point and it just flops open, and all of it fell out

The center has no support and every time I bend over, I hear "thud" then I have to go through the garden to make sure I didn't miss any "thuds" that fell out on the way. Today I damaged a zucchini that fell out of the center.I'm going to modify it and put a heavy Duty snap in the middle to keep the middle closed. But I'm irritated that I have to do that in the first place.

I ordered this VOPHIA Gardening Apron, because I have seen similar aprons used by commercial fruit pickers, when picking pears and apples. I have many fruit trees and this will be so much better than bending down to a bucket, every time I pick an apple or a pear. Now I can just put each one in the apron, until it is full, then empty them all into the bucket, by unlatching the two plastic strap snaps, that keep the bottom closed and letting the fruit roll into the bucket or box. This apron is made of a medium weight canvas. It has two very large pockets behind a black waterproof fabric layer, and four small pockets on the outside front of the apron. The small pockets have elastic to help keep them closed. The sides of the apron have elastic, at the waist, too. The front of the apron, where the straps attach have the X stitching that adds strength to the apron straps. That is a nice extra detail. The straps are adjustable and have a plastic snap closure, similar to straps on backpacks. This is a nice fruit apron. I think it will last for a few years.
