At 7.25"H x 9.5"L x 1.5"W, this pack of two (2) wick filters is designed to fit select Vornado humidifiers. The filter must have the correct height, width, thickness, and material for maximum performance. Competitors often advertise their filters will work with Vornado humidifiers but these filters don't always fit properly, therefore, the humidifier will not work effectively. Vornado wicks are developed from the highest quality materials that work to absorb the maximum amount of water while filtering the circulating air. Competitor brands are made of different materials not designed for Vornado humidifiers. These humidifier replacement wicks, part number MD1-0002, work with models Evap3, Evap1, Model 30, and Model 50.

I have the industrial size humidifier, for 1845 converted brick mill lofy and it’s very dry in the winter. The humidifier itself is so simple and easy to clean, but you need to change the works out and I put them on subscription. The humidifier is so easy to clean, but you definitely want These wicks on hand.

Based on other reviews for this 1.5" version and an excellent video of this used in the EVAP40, I decided to try it and it works well. It's thicker than the 1" width ones that come with the EVAP40, but it fits length and height wise. Using it about two weeks and it does good job of wicking up the liquid and I believe better than the 1" thick ones. At low fan setting, the EVAP40 pushed my humidity level to 60% in my bedroom. I have nasal issues and this helps me to sleep better. It's currently spring time in Colorado, but I prefer my humidity level between 50 to 60% while sleeping.

Wow, I wish these humidifier wicks did not take so long to get here. You need to order a month in advance, and I forget this. This wick works so well, and after 3-4 weeks you need a new one.The humidifier I use is perfect for me. The vornado humidifier wicks come two to a box, relatively expensive. This wick filters all the yucky stuff out, and when you change it you can see wha5 was in the air. You need to clean the humidifier well, before changing the wick. This is a monthly duty, but is necessary for a clean humidier and clean air.Recommended. prisrob 04-27-18

These are nice. I buy 1 set a year. It collects dust wonderfully. Easy to install and lasts all winter long. Perfect fit and seems to be pretty quiet.
