I tried to use it on my head lights but wasn't big enough. But if done right it will be like a thick clear coat. Vivid is a great brand for vinyl. I'll probably use it on something else.

Easy to install. Was unaware it came in precut size and not a continuous roll. Had to carefully place to ensure total coverage on my headlights. But so far, so good.

This stuff is great. My first time installing any sort of synthetic wrap over curved surfaces. A little learning curve on my part, but the product was easy to work with and rather forgiving to a beginner. I used a heat gun on low to facilitate confirming to the compound curves in order to keep it as a single piece and avoid cutting out portions and trying to make them line up without gaps. No issues with adhesion once pressed in place with a silicone blade and final pass with the heat gun. Been on for a couple of months and several washes. No issues so far and no signs of UV deterioration.

This is low quality wrap that has no air release channels and is not transparent. The material is hazy, making it useless on the headlight, and it has an orange peel texture making it even more cloudy. There are no air release channels and it’s thick and difficult to work with. The images of headlights on other reviews could not possibly have the same film on them if they’re wrapped at all.

The 3M directions for this film recommends dry application, although wet is possible. Tried to save some money by using this sheet film on a headlight, raising the level of difficulty due to complex curves. First attempt at dry application resulted in many perimeter creases. Went wet with the second with better, although not perfect, results. Heat gun should be considered a necessity for dry application. Good quality and less expensive than pre-cut headlight wraps. Am between redoing the first headlight or just trimming the film strategically to eliminate most application defects.

First off, wet apply with soap water.Great results for professional install. Will have occasional haze that will dissipate within 24 hrs for a clear clean look.Satisfied

Needs a little heat and time, but works well for the price. Can’t expect 80 dollar quality film for less than a quarter of the cost.

I am not even sure it's an actual vvivid product. I have use their hex pulse wrap before and these were amazing. This wrap is so bad in term of quality and application. The wrap does not stretch as well. The air release is almost non-existent and once the wrap is flatten properly, it makes the headlight looks really foggy. You can see the glue patches underneath it. Save your money and don't buy this wrap.

It’s was hard to put on my 2015 Honda CRV, because of the curve and bump ,but it looks good now ,I think it’s a good protection even for stones

Application went well(I'm a first time novice). Received shipment promptly as promised. Seems like a good product, don't know about long term yet.
