Your cart is empty.Vockeen hi-performance push rods are compatible with VW air-cooled engines and made from 4130 Chromoly cold drawing seamless tube, cut to length 11.60'', 3/8'' outer diameter, wall thickness 0.088'', 8 pcs per set. Chromoly ball tips are CNC machined and heat-treated to HRC 60, will not wear out in extreme working conditions. 11.60'' long, should be cut to length, enables the builder to assemble them to exact requirements. OD ground for consistency and black oxidized finish with length laser etched on, easy to identify. Blank end has been delicately reamed, reamed length 25mm. Tool set made from Aluminum billets. The ID of the tool precisely matches 3/8'' push rod. After cutting the blank end, you will need it to install the ball tip into the cube. Using this tool to press the tip into place, you eliminate the risk of splitting or bending the push rod. Includes set of 8 push rods and 1 tool set

After making several sets over the years, this is the best kit I've come across. These eliminate bent or swollen push rods by providing a great tool for pressing the tip in.

Install tool is handy and doesn’t damage the ends when assembling. Thick wall tubing is a very good upgrade compared to the stock mild steel rods. Use a good pipe cutter and it’s an easy job!
