Exact replacement. A little tricky to get the old one snapped out but the new one was an easy replacement.

I had one of these lights go bad in our Whirlpool fridge. Unfortunately, Whirlpool wires these lights in series, so if one of the LED drivers fails, power doesn’t continue to the rest of the lights. That said, all our lights went out due to one fixture going bad. I’m a perfectionist, so when I saw people saying the light color wasn’t a good match, I was worried. Suffice to say, the light color output was very close to the originals. I think it’s slightly bluer than the originals. I don’t think anyone else would ever know. See picture, I’ve circled the one in red that I replaced for comparison. Very happy, but time will tell how long the driver lasts.

So yes, this is super easy to install. I used a plastic pry bar that I use for auto trim ti wedge in between the plastic and the fridge. From there I slid a side of the prybar to the middle, and popped out the old light. Removing the wire took a min ( I rec. looking at the end of your new light) and then had to feed the wires back in. As most have mentioned, this is not a soft white, it is a yellow light. But for the price, it is great, and gives your fridge your light again. Ill update if they do not last long.

Lights went out in my whirlpool in my freezer and top of my fridge. From a YouTube video I found those lights are on the same circuit like a Christmas tree light strand. Fixed my fridge with this cheap part. Highly recommended
