These are new clippers after using old clippers for so long. Right out of the box onto a dirty horse even!!! Went thru the hair smooth and effortless. The wright of this clipper is light but cuts heavy duty even for winder cut. Wish I had bought them years earlier!!

I have enjoyed this new clipper. It is so quiet and easy to hold and clip. It does cut through a thick coat easily and I never felt heat in the clipper while in use.

These "Wahl Pro Animal Equine MaxCoat Horse Clipper - Horse, Dog & Cat Clipper - Powerful Pet Grooming Clipper - Corded Pet Clipper - Quiet - Black" are quite nice. There are two speeds and a very sturdy competition series clipper blade. It unfortunately didn't come with any guards, so I had to find some that would fit on this blade (it's considered an A5 style or competition blade; this information helped me in my search, so I thought I would include it in this review).I didn't want to use these on my furry friend without trying them on myself first. I decided to give myself a haircut using this clipper and wow! These clippers are super quiet, even on the highest setting, which is obviously great for pets because they startle easily. The vibration of the clippers is very gentle and won't startle them either. I also noticed that the clippers still cut hair with little to no resistance (just as easy, or more so, than the other clippers I have for myself). Not once did I feel like my hair was pulled or yanked by the blade; it was a very nice experience and I now know pets won't have an issue with these clippers. There was also a very even finish to the cut.The cord is really really long, which is also great and it was easy to clean them off (I just vacuumed the hair off of them and put them away).After using these on myself, that made me feel very confident about using them on my furry friend for a trim.This is a great buy and I highly recommend.

This clipper really powers through thick hair without slowing down. This is great for any horse, dog, or cat that needs to be trimmed. It is quiet for how powerful it is. I am impressed that even after a few uses, the blades work just as well as the first time I used them. Very high quality and easy to use.

Great animal clippers! Wahl is a trusted brand that I’ve used for over 20 years. Most of their products are fantastic. This set of clippers is no different. They work super well for any type of clipping, face, bridle path, legs, or body. They are a little bigger than some of the portable ones commonly used for a horse’s face but they still work just the same for the face. They are great quality. The cord is ample long for clipping. They are super sharp so they cut like butter. I’m very happy with them.

All of our dogs have double coats so we needed a really good clipper set for them. These work amazingly, cuts their hair like butter. It makes grooming so much faster and easier.

The Wahl Pro Animal Equine MaxCoat Horse Clipper is a great product to have. Although it’s made for use on horses, it works very well on dogs and cats. It’s very quiet, yet very effective for cutting fur without hassles.
