The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure include no start, engine flooding, poor fuel economy and/or a steady check engine light. Recommended service should be performed every 25,000 to 35,000 miles and consists of cleaning or replacing sensors that are non-functional. I just built an engine and while driving it the air temp sensor went out. The local parts stores only had their store brands, which I've learned not to trust. Ford no longer makes it. So I opted for this because Walker has along history of quality replacement parts. It works perfectly and my engine runs great now.

Old ranger jut replaced for preventative maintenance truck runs fine still fit my 94 2.3l ranger looks identical fit the same! Not to much to review have a good day Mike!!!
