I installed this on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler 2.5. It was a perfect direct fit. The muffler is nice and quiet even when the engine wrapped up to 4k RPM.

Tried a couple of different mufflers. Most were too loud and had a drone to them that I didnt like. This is a good budget replacement for an OE fit and sound. Its a little longer than the OE muffler plan cutting the tail pipe an inch or 2 to accommodate fit.

This is about the only decent option for a Jeep Wrangler TJ. It made our 4.0 super quiet and helped the 2.5l that I daily drive. From my experience the 2.5 is just louder out the exhaust than the 4.0 with this same muffler on both Jeeps. 4.0 has no Cat and is very quiet. 2.5 has Cat with the same muffler as the 4.0 and is louder than the 4.0. 2.5 sounds good just not whisper quiet like I wanted.

This fit my 1998 Wrangler and this is the quietest my Jeep has ever been. Great quality!

to begin with it is only 21.5" long even counting the 2" pipes at each end instead of 24.7 as listed, it is not stainless steel, a magnet sticks just as hard as pure steel. I really needed to install it ASAP but now I have to send it back.

I had mine professionally installed on my 97 Jeep TJ. No leaks, nice low tone with the flat 6, 4.0 litre. Clamped on not welded, nice setup. I was looking for a quiet muffler, this one provides a nice low profile growl with my K&N cold air intake. I live in the South, very humid, salt air - but keep the Jeep garaged, so no rust as others may have experienced. I also let the Jeep warm up and burn the condensation in the exhaust before I take off, not many trips under 15 minutes, so I'm sure that's why I'm having a great experience with no rust, I also drive the Jeep like a Cadilac so no off roading here.

It does its job. Thought it might be a little quieter. Overall no complaints.

Installed on a 1999 Jeep Wrangler with 2.5 four cylinder. It was easy to install and the Jeep is nice and quiet with good power.

Put this on my Metric Mechanic Baby Six 325e with a 2 1/4" cat-back system custom made to fit a 5 litre capacity cat..custom hanger to fit the muffler case...works like a charm...nice mello sound that won't drive you crazy even after a 600 mile day.

I bought this to replace a 30 year old Borla muffler that had been on three vehicles. The stuffing in the Borla has worn out and it has developed a drone, and although Borla offers a lifetime replacement warranty, we do not have the original bill of sale anymore, so no go there.I specifically chose the Walker as a replacement because it was a baffled design, (so I thought it would be the quietest muffler out there), and because it should last a bit longer being the stainless steel. When cruising around, it is quieter than the 30 year old Borla from inside the car, but it's not as silent as I expected. At full throttle, it seems surprisingly similar in volume to the nold Borla. From the outside, standing behind it when it's idling, it does not sound as quiet as expected either, and it has a sort of bark that I didn't expect. The Borla had a smooth "brrrrr" sound. The Walker has a more ruffled, chugging sound to it.I do not hate the Walker, but I'm glad that it's made from the cheaper stainless steel so I can try again in 5 or 10 years. Maybe I'll come to like it later!
