Not sure why this is marketed for kids. It's a perfectly functional walkie talkie that works like any other and does not have any childish print on it.I work in a retail store and I purchased this because the ones they use suck and die all the time. I bought this, changed it to the channel they use and poof! I now have a functional walkie of my own that has a long lasting battery and a nice color. Seriously, I've used it for a few shifts and it hasn't even dropped down a bar of charge. I can't speak for the range because I only need it to work throughout a big store.

I had got it for test from channel 15-22 for monitor GMRS repeaters traffic. I never have to buy any battery for this pair of walkie talkies.

Bought these for my grand kids just opened the box and the parts bag and 1 of the 3 straps were broken.Update, I contacted the seller and they were happy to help and very responsive!! The walkie-talkies are working good.

My boy loves these. Easy to use. Good way to stay in contact while out at the bowling alley/lounge/sports bar. He is running around with the kids while i sit with the adults.
