This item is perfect1) It truly is silent 2) it has all the markings that cover all standard time telling conventions (quarter past, etc.) 3) it is just the right size to be seen from across a small bedroom but not so large as to be too big. 4) the colors are bright and happy but not so much that you will hide it when the grandchildren leave. Wonderful purchase. One note if you are planning on "setting" it down you will have to come up with something creative (see the picture)

This size is perfect for small hands. Bought for my son who iam teaching to tell time. Love that it has hours and minutes marked on each hand, as well as each minute on the clock. We use this more as a learning tool to help him. Great quality, wonderful price! Functions as a normal clock would, live the bright colors, and easy to use!
