I live in a 30 ft RV. That said, space for storage is always at a premium. I bought these Yocice shoe racks despite the mixed reviews, & I'm glad I did. Yes they are plastic, but that makes fitting odd shaped or sized shoes easy. Yes, the sticky tape they include didn't seem strong enough to hold my leather shoes. So I simply replaced their included sticky tape for 3M sicky tape labeled for 5 lbs & made sure I used two, instead of one, on each side. They work well, it's a great fit, & it looks nice & neat. The product, at first seems flimsy, but, it really is sturdy and the attachment to the wall/door was easy. Just be certain to clean the surfaces completely .It can handle shoes quite easily. I’m a size 13. However, I wouldn’t put anything as heavy as hiking shoes, or boots. Just not made for those.

Got these to use as a place for our shoes in our RV. Class C motorhome with a walk-in closet. We attached these to the wall in the closet to store slippers and flip flops. Perfect!Giving it 4 stars because the flip flops almost seem to fall out. Would work with tennis shoes that are not real thick as well.

These work as described and look pretty neat on the wall. My complaints are that the plastic came a little warped and they also feel like they're going to fall off the wall eventually, taking some of the paint with them on the command strips. They're flimsy, but for the money I'm satisfied with them, just probably won't purchase again.Update: they constantly fall off the wall. I just keep putting new strips on them.

I hesitated to buy these since so many of the reviewers said the sticky strips failed, but I've had them up for over 4 months and they're still on the wall! I dont remember if they came with instructions, but the strips they sent were command strips, so I followed the normal command strip protocol. Wipe the wall with a damp cloth and let that air dry, then press the strips onto the back of the shoe holders for 30 seconds. Then press the shoe holder to the wall and press on it firmly for 30 more seconds.Theyve even held a heavy pair of mens doc Martin's, so I'm wondering if the other reviewers weren't applying the strips properly.

I bought this item to put in our RV camper, and the problems are the following:1. I couldn't get the plastic to go through the small holes needed to mount to the wall. The holes were too small.2. I tried to enlarge the holes so they would attach, but that didn't work because the holes aren't meant to be enlarged, and it doesn't stay attached.3. I finally used super glue to glue the plastic to the wall mounts. That finally worked. Now they are perfect for the purpose.

These are great for what they are. I don't know why anyone would think they will work for heavy or large shoes, but for light shoes like sandals, slippers and sneakers they're great!I have a set on the inside of each of my closet doors and they work great for my comfy indoor shoes that used to get tossed on top of my good ones.I put mine up on closet doors with inset panels and the racks are just wide enough to fit most of the strip area on the flat parts of the doors.A couple of tips:- Wipe off the area on the back of the rack and the wall with a very lightly damp cloth like a Miracle Cloth to make sure there isn't any residue that could effect adhesion.- Attach the Command Strips at a slight angle following the outer side with the pull tab peeking out of the bottom. If you feel you will need additional support add a third small Command strip to the center with just enough peeking out that you can grab it if you ever need to remove them.- Start at the bottom of where you want your shoes to be and work your way up, putting light shoes in them so you can adjust the height so shoes are easy to put in and remove.- After you get them where you want them, take the shoes out and burnish the areas on the rack where the strips are with your fingers to make sure there is good adhesion and then wat at least 12 hours to put your shoes away.I put up my first set over 2 years ago and they are still stuck in place. If they come lose or you need to move them you can always get replacement Command Strips.

First of all, do not bother using the double stick tape they provide. All of mine fell off the wall within the first few hours! I switched to a heavy duty double stick tape I already had (the kind you use to hang a heavy, framed picture) and that worked better. SO FAR: The plastic is quite flimsy, so when you put a slightly bulkier shoe in it (such as a tennis shoe or slip-on type sneaker), the plastic bows out and pulls away from the wall. I figure it’s just a matter of time before those fall off as well. Bottom line: I only recommend using these for flip-flops, slippers and lightweight sandals.
