It's lightweight but with a very stiff brim; wide coverage means my entire face is shielded from the sun. I love that this can be worn in or near water, yet also looks nice enough to wear in less casual situations. The adjustable drawstrings are a fantastic addition that make the visor so comfortable and secure. I plan to buy more of these in other colors!!One note about the seller (which I only leave here because I see that the majority of the purchase options result in getting the hat from just this one seller), Breckenridge Hat Company: They do an atrocious job of packaging the visor to mail it to you. It explicitly states on the hat tags not to bend or roll, and yet the visor was shipped in a plain, flexible mailing sleeve that allowed it to get bent quite nicely before it arrived at my house. I hope it goes back to the proper shape so I don't have to return it and buy from another source. A hat company ought to know how to package hats properly, and if they are shy on spending money on decent packaging they should charge for S/H so that customers can get the hat in the expected condition. Very disappointed with the seller, and for the color I wanted I had no other option. But I really need to keep better track of where I stash it. I just had to buy my 4th visor because I misplaced every one! So very worth the money, so comfortable and easy to clean. You won’t be sorry!

Great, extremely light weight visor. I didn’t really want to spend $30 on a visor but I’d say it’s definitely worth it. It literally weighs ounces and is the most comfortable visor I’ve worn. I have an average size head (22†circumference) and this fits well where I don’t have to tie it as tight as it could go. My only complaint is my forehead sweats much more under this visor. I’m not sure if it’s the material or what, but my forehead was hot. It’s made of bathing suit material that has stretch and the inside form is a lightweight foam but thick enough to hold its shape.

This is the second time I have bought this visor. It is durable and you can pull it down low for even more coverage because of the wide headband. It is great to travel with and I wear it when I go swimming too. I have a variety of hats but this is my go to. I have also put this in the washer with no issues. I had my first one for many years and probably would still be using it if I didn’t lose it to a gust of wind on a ferry boat ride.

ProsVery lightweight and comfortable.You barely feel like it's on.It looks just like the picture.Washable -huge plus.ConsWay too pricy for what it is.Company offered a sale on the website but returning to the site directly is so much of a pain that I would rather pay full price and have a free return if it does not fit.The brim is only foam so it will not hold up in wind or bike riding.I'll keep it, I do like it but for the price I don't want a hat that won't hold up to wind. It's fine for pool side though.

I love these so much that I buy them repeatedly and keep them in all different places (one in my car for when I want to walk during lunch, one in the mud room for when I walk outside, one in my pool-bag for when I want to lay out by the pool). They are extremely comfortable, stretch to fit your head (and therefore stay on very well provided there is no strong gust of wind), waterproof (I take them into the pool or lake), and washes great on delicate wash and dry cycles. The tie at the back of hat can get a little annoying because it tickles my neck a little, but in those cases I just push the hanging string up between the hat band and my head and the problem is solved.

I have a few of these visors and this last one adds a nice touch to my collection - the others are solid colours. They are light on the head and give very good shade and since they tie at the back, are easily adjustable for the correct fit. They pack fairly well too.

Soft, comfortable, easy to pack and easy to clean. Keeps the sun off your face without the hat hair, I wear them all summer, nit just round the pool.
