Great fit! I needed new denim shorts in a longer length and I’m always hesitant about the ordering online. Ordered these just before a vacation and was pleasantly surprised - the length is good, denim is soft and stretchy, and they’re pretty decent overall. I’ve only washed them once, but the quality seems ok so far.

I recently lost 50 pounds, which is awesome, but I hate trying on clothes, so I've been dreading starting over on my wardrobe. Whether gaining or losing weight, you go through a period where your old clothes still sort of fit you and then, all of a sudden, nothing does, and it's panic time! My previous jeans and jean shorts for the past 6 years have all been plus 22 Women's Silver Jeans. I have lymphedema and wear huge wraps on my lower legs, so I tend to wear shorts almost all the time, even in the dead of winter. My previous size 22 Silver Jeans shorts have been like a security blanket with how often I wore them. But one day, they just wouldn't stay up anymore, even with a belt. Honestly, I feel like they became ridiculously large overnight. I immediately jumped on Amazon and ordered two pairs of shorts to try — a pair of Silver Jeans shorts of the same style as my last pair, but two sizes smaller (20) and on a whim, this Wallflowers pair, also in size 20. When I tried on these Wallflower shorts, they fit perfectly! I could have cried! I don't think I've ever tried on a pair of shorts that instantly fit this well the first time I put them on. No gaping in the back. No riding up between my thighs as I walk. No need to stretch out to conform to my curves. Just perfect. My husband’s eyes just about popped out of his head the first time I wore these shorts, and he continues to comment on them every time I wear them. For reference, the Silver Jeans shorts I ordered in size 20 were a bit too big, so there is a sizing difference between these brands.

These are super cute but they run small. Am 5' 4" tall and 200lbs. In jeans I wear in a 14W in Torrid and INC. And a 16W in Michael Kors. I carry most of my weight in my hips, butt and legs and have a small waist. I ordered these in a 16W. I can get into them and could wear them but they are pretty snug. I am still losing weight so I'll just set them aside until I lose a bit more. They are well made and cute. But if I wanted to wear them right now I should have ordered 18W.

I love wallflower Jean products but they fit differently now, not in a great way. These were on sale and affordable when I got them. I normally wear a size 5 but others said to go up a size, I’m glad I did. These are stretchy and comfy until you pull them up to your waist. Fits great in the legs, comfy, not restricting. That all changes once you pull them up past your hips and butt. The Fit is very tight and uncomfortable in the waist. I found out Wallflower now makes all their jean products with a “contoured waist†to prevent gaps. Thanks for ruining a good product.

For women like me, that are a little bit more conservative and older who find teen sizing to it, better, these were a little short for me. I'm never going to wear longer shorts. My, long skinny but toned legs are one of my aspects and find women's sizes in jeans and shorts baggy in the legs, so I went to Wallflower and find their mid rise boot cut jeans are "perfect for my legs and any shoes I want to wear, hug my round middle and hips perfectly and have give everywhere even though it doesn't look like it". And I see people of all ages wearing them! No matter what style of Jean or anything else you like fits exactly true to size. Will never buy another brand again in this lifetime!

I love their Jenna Lucious Curvy bootcut mid-rise jeans and discovered they had shorts in the same style. I decided to compare them. They are the same size 15. You could chop off the legs of the jeans and get the same feel as the shorts.I look great in these shorts (Jenna Midi). They are amazingly stretchy and soft for jeans. Comfortable throughout the day, working, and relaxing. I am 5' 5.5", my waist line is 35 and hips 43. My finger tips barely touch the bottom of my shorts.The front the small pocket is actually functional! It fits a chapstick in it all the way without pushing it out when I move around. I normally never use those pockets because most brands are useless decoration.I am glad I didn't go with the recommendation to size up. They have enough stretch that I can slide them off my hips without unbuttoning them. If you are use to looser shorts around the thighs I would get a larger size.The differences between the shorts and jeans:Noticeable: The shorts have more contrast between the dark and light areas. There is less bling and the back pockets are larger.The inside of the shorts are lighter color than the pants, which is helps the shorts not get burning hot in the sun.My jeans didn't fade in color the 5 months I have had them, so expecting my shorts to be the same. The shorts have been washed twice and look the same as when I bought them.They are not as stretchy as yoga clothes but I can do yoga in them.

Never ordered shorts from Amazon, so these were a real treat. Thanks for the advice to order a larger size, I did and they are still a bit tight, but I'll keep them.
