I am very pleasantly surprised! I am a picky artist when it comes to my paper. I like it to be laser paper smooth, with no smudging for pencils, work well with brush and ink pens, but I’m not much of a painter or marker artist. All that said, it is perfect for what I bought it for- sketchbook paper for an a5 binder.The paper smoothness is similar to inkjet and has a great weight to it, which was unexpected. It’s slightly off white, photographs well, but isn’t dark enough to have white pen show up. I was surprised at how well it didn’t smudge pencil and there was no bleed on my brush pens, and minimal bleed on a sharpie. You can see how the alcohol and sharpie bleed though the back, but nothing else. In the last image, it shows how opaque the paper is. I am very impressed for what I thought would just be a cheap pack of paper. Couldn’t be happier, and I’m VERY hard to please when it comes to my art supplies.

Good quality paper at a great price! What's not to love? Other similar purchases have ended up in the scrap paper basket for the grands, so I'm really pleased with this purchase!

This paper is perfect for what I needed. Be warned, the paper is not perfect white, it is a little warm and the dots are grey but I really enjoy this color. It’s thicker than printer paper but not so thick that I can’t fit as much paper as I want in my planner. Ink doesn’t bleed through which is a big factor for me. There’s also a lot of paper that comes in one package...a big plus! I will certainly be buying this again once I run out.

Pros:Paper quality seems fine. None of my pens are bleeding through, and they write smoothly. The dots also appear to be consistently placed from page to page, no weird skewing or margin issues.Cons:This is definitely subjective but the dots are darker than I would have liked. I've had dot grid notebooks with smaller and lighter dots, which I was hoping to recreate with my own little replenishable binder. My picture isn't really doing it justice but the dots are a dark gray, and they stand out a lot more than I'd prefer. It's useable for sure and if I can't find another paper with lighter dots I will repurchase when it's time. But I will try finding another paper with lighter dots first. I'd just prefer something that sort of blends into the background more, rather than competing with my notes and sketches.
