Our family has just started leathercrafts as a hobby and I was hoping this 3 pound lot of scraps would be great for small projects and practice pieces.Im astounded at the quality and the number and size of pieces. I received a total of 39 pieces including 46" of lace. All the pieces except one, are completely usable. The one that isn't usable is scoffed a bit, but can be used for cutting/tooling practice.Most of the pieces are between 5x7 and 6x12. About half a dozen are 3x8 to 3x12.The leather is beautiful. All of it is uniformly colored the same chocolate brown color, which I dont mind at all, because it is one color I really love in leather crafts and can be combined with other colored leathers. There is no mottling or scars. The grain is very fine and has a smooth look and feel.I had read previous reviews and some were pretty bad, but I thought I'd take a chance based on the good reviews. Im glad I did.In terms of weight, I measured the thickness and it corresponds roughly to a 4 ounce weight. I will order again. This is a great value.

Received all browns..very nice leather good size, all usable. Only 20" on cordage though

Very nice assortment of leather pieces usable for crafts such as hatband, western scarf ties. Like the stressed leather look and quality of leather

The leather was all browns of various shades. No colors as shown in the image. All pretty much the same weight and low quality as well. Won’t order again.

Cheap bad quality leather with no variety. I’ve ordered scrap 3-4 times before with great results. Unfortunately It was so long ago I couldn’t find who I ordered from.This was a bad buy.

I was surprised at the size of the bundle that arrived. There is a large assortment of scrap leather in both colors and sizes. If you are in need of small pieces of good quality leather at a very affordable price this will most definitely fit the bill.

This bundle of leather scraps came arrived earlier than advised by Amazon, and that was a great surprise. 95% of the pieces were pretty large, like 6" x 8" or more and they were of various "weights" (thin-thick, soft-stiff) and lots of "character" showing on the pieces, giving it LIFE. For me, it was a perfect assortment, except......The only color other than dark-medium brown and tannish- brown in the package were 3 pieces of red-dyed leather. I was really hoping, and needing, a better variety of colors, like some blues, green, and light, light tans/beige maybe even white. But I knew what I was ordering and that I didn't have a choice or option of selecting colors, so now I might just have to find some small "sheets" of other colors. I would definitely order these again, but it's going to be awhile before I use up what I have, ya know?

i just started working with leather so this was perfect to practice with, made a wallet and a few little cases. still have plenty left over. mixed variety of colors, sizes and thicknesses. wasn't a fan of some of the softer leathers for what i wanted to work with but overall a good selection.

Recommended!!Just a quick blurb about this. I wanted a stack of samples of leather to cut with my laser. It needs to be genuine of course, so this is perfect.I happen to get a beautiful pack that was all tanned brown. The smallest piece seems to be about twice the size of my open hand; everything else is bigger.Some of the pieces were folded making a crease but it's not many, and the amount of really good usable pieces far outweighs a bit of that. I can cut around them in most cases so far.I'm sure if this is still available again when I come looking, I'm buying this again. Perhaps the next one will not be as great, but that's the surprise and excitement of it. What will you get? But again this batch was amazing!!I unrolled it and sandwiched them between cardboard and strapped it back up flatter. Perfect for small laser projects. I made a little robot emoji keychain set for the boys (Leather engraved front, 3mm basswood center, leather backing).

Belle quantité de chutes, le cuir est correct. Certaines chutes ont des point qui virent au vert (moisissures due a l'humidité?) mais qui peuvent s'enlever. Cela demande beaucoup de travail de préparation si on veut avoir quelque chose de nickel. Mais pour se faire la main et faire des petits projets c'est pas mal.
