This is the perfect backpack for a cruise or vacation for someone who doesn't usually carry backpacks, but thinks "I wonder if I should just put one in the suitcase just in case? It lies totally flat in a suitcase for packing, but it doesn't look cheap when you actually use it. It'svery sturdy. It's great for places where the weather is going to be unpredictable and you just need something to hold a rain poncho or a windbreaker or a couple of snacks. It's also great for older people on excursions because it's so lightweight and can hold personal hygiene products or a change of clothing if they're dealing with incontinence or other fears while traveling and finally, it would make a great gift for a family taking a cruise together just to make sure the favorite Aunt doesn't get stuck holding the souvenirs. Get everyone one. No, I don't work for company - just liked the product.

Wow. For the price you really can’t go wrong. Absolutely a great gym bag! Carries my shoes, my lifting straps, and protein I need to bring plus all sorts of pockets throughout the bad. The shoulder straps are very durable and very comfortable. The bag was actually bigger than I had imagined. Love the bag so much I bought my wife one in pink.

This thing is huge! It has enough space for shoes separated from your clothes, 2 outfits, water bottle, makeup bag, phone, ear buds and just about anything else you want to tote around. The straps are nice and sturdy. The metal bevels really help to prevent the straps from twisting. The straps are easy to adjust and don't slid around. The bag is made from a pretty durable fabric that has a nice weight to it and a little slick so water just rolls right off. Hubby likes mine so much only the bright purple color prevented him from swiping it! LOL! He has his own coming though because I'm AWESOME! Don't tell!

Needed an over the shoulder bag to act as a lightweight briefcase for transporting work items (mostly folders with occasional books), but didn't want a full backpack. This bag is working very well. It's big enough for folders and textbooks (even my laptop) with room to spare. The interior pockets are great for pens, whiteboard markers, a snack bar, etc. and the outside zipper pocket is a bonus. I don't use the shoe compartments. The mesh pouches on the side too small for a large water bottle, but hold an umbrella perfectly. I usually carry the bag over one shoulder but, if carrying books, I sometimes use both straps like a backpack. Even though the straps aren't padded, they are reasonably comfortable. Would definitely be fine if carrying lighter weight items. The drawstring closure is fairly tight given the width of the straps. There is also a loop for hanging. The entire bag is lined. The fabric seems sturdy and shows no sign of wear after 8 weeks of daily use. It states that it is water resistant, but I gave it an extra spray of waterproofing just to be safe. Have carried it in light rain and everything has stayed dry. Overall, it's a much better bag than I expected and suits my needs well. It would be good for travel as a carry on or day pack. And no, I did not receive any form of compensation for this review. It's just a good bag.

I bought this as a replacement for my other bag, which was a very similar style. However, I am very please with this purchase. The fabric is more sturdy. I especially like the string as it thick in width so it does not dig into my shoulders. There is an extra zipper on the side of the bag that is very big and can fit a regular size notebook. Not just that but all the pockets on this bag are bigger. Best $20 ever spent.

I do colorguard and ever other bag I've had destroyed by the end of one marching season. This bag has not only survived but hasn't shown any damage. I often lay my bag down on not so clean bus seats, gym floors, football fields, and grassy ground but it never gets visibily dirty. It's very waterproof and I never once had my stuff inside get wet. The inside also kept any water I had in my bag cold despite being outside in 90°F+ weather. What I love most is how much it's able to hold; I had brought multiple sets of clothes, snacks, water, and tons of other stuff and the bag comfortably held it all.

Ive been looking for a straight up drawstring bag for days, then I found this drawstring/backpack hybrid. It's basically a 2 in 1 type bag. No zipper to access the bag itself, so you can quickly reach in. It also makes security checkpoints run a little faster. It has a few zipper compartments for small items, and two bottle holders.Pros - Quick and easy to reach in and grab something big like a big water bottle or lunch. Adjustable straps without too much fiddling.Pro-Con - The bottle holders are small, did not fit my round metal thermos. I just stuff that in the bag compartment, kept the bottle out of the sun.Cons - The straps twist and tangle so often it's annoying. Everytime I put this bag on, the strap I put on second always twists. It got so bad, the entire strap turned over I had to fiddle with it and flip the strap over to fix it. Plus the straps can be uncomfortable since it doesn't have padding on the shoulders.I'm in the middle with this. I wish I could have done a try before you buy with this bag. I probably wouldn't have bought it, but I wanted a drawstring so I'm in the fence about returning it. I'll give it another go.
