This is a really nice warm parka. My only reason for not giving it a 5-star rating is that it does not have the kind of zipper that allows you to unzip just the bottom foot or so for sitting, especially driving, so the coat bunches up when sitting unless you unzip the entire zipper. I produce a lot of heat, and this coat will only be worn on very cold days, 32 degrees or less, I'd say. But that might just be me. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is very good. I would recommend it. (I still might take it to my dry cleaner. They do zipper repairs and might be able to put one of those zipper pulls that allows just the bottom to unzip.)

I am a Floridian and have not had a heavy winter jacket in many years. Most of my jackets have been suitable for weather in the 40° range. I bought this jacket based on the excellent reviews and the overnight shipping. I was in New York for a few days with a temperature averaging 25°. My body and bald head were warm the entire time. It was a perfect fit with many big pockets and excellent padding. The jacket is waterproof, and I know that because we got caught in the rain. I saw the water beading off just like it was supposed to. The sleeves have a soft cotton and a thumb hole to hold them in place. This is a great jacket, and I would not hesitate to buy it again or recommend it to somebody.

I purchased the 5x coat for big men 6ft or under. I have always had trouble finding coats to fit as they are designed for smaller people. This jacket is everything advertised. Very warm, very light, and very well made. Great product!!

Very very warm soft lining with elastic built in to stop the wind coming up your back. Heavy but when it's -40 out who cares. I'm a plus size model 6'4 275lbs ordered the 6x. Roomy in the waist and chest exactly what I wanted. Arm length is perfect for my height elastic at the end of the sleeves. Weirdly the zipper is on the wrong side. The piece you pull up is on the right. Seems solid but the Canadian winter will test that.

This just might be the best purchase I have ever made, at 73 y.o. that is saying something.3xl fits perfectly, the regular size is long enough for my 6 ft frame, the materials seem strong and it looks good. Just going into a forecast cold weather in the interior of B.C. and will post any weak points if I find them.

It is a really nice winter coat. I live in Northern Ontario, it gets cold but this coat will keep you warm. It is of good quality material and well put together. It looks nice too. I am happy with the purchase and do recommend the product if you live in a cold environment.It is almost too warm. You sweat in it. It doesnt breath at all. It holds all your sweat, so you have to wash often. This is not a fall or spring jacket, it is purely a winter coat, as it would be too hot to wear if it is not well below freezing. It doesnt have a liner that you can take out, so you have to wash the entire jacket. It doesnt have a two way zipper, so it can feel really bulky when driving if you have it zipped up.If you live in a cold environment and spend a lot of time outside, this is the perfect jacket to keep you warm. It is fairly light, wind and water resistant. It has a nice hood that pulls tight. It would be good to go ice fishing, or ski-doing. However, if you are someone who sweats a lot, you will need to wash this jacket a lot. This is only a winter coat, you would be way too hot in the spring or fall.For the price I paid for this quality coat, I am very happy. I only wish it had a removable liner to make washing a lot easier. I do recommend this product and would buy again. I am happy with this purchase :)
