I like War Eagle spinnerbaits. When I saw this one I gave it a try. First cast and a bass nailed it. I caught a good number on it. Then it got snagged and I lost it. So I ordered a new one right away. And of course first cast after getting a new one a bass nailed it. I have gotten another one in a different color. I have not fished it yet. But I am expecting they will like that one as well. I think the blade combination is not something they see or feel very often. If ever. So it is new to them. At least where I fish. Quality is normal War Eagle. Excellent.

The war eagle spinner bait is the best..I catch more fish on this then any other made and I’m an Alabamafan

This spinner bait reminds me so much of DON BUTLER 1972 bass master classic winners spinner bait OKIE BUG, proud to say I new and respected this great man. I bought the 5/16 sexy mouse ,as a replacement for the 1/4 oz okie bug ,after losing my last one to tootsie creator called a northern peckeral or pike ,yes we have them Louisiana to,this is a great spinner bait,well made and the bass cannot resist it ,I highly recommend the sexy shad 5/16 oz .Run this bait with a 7:1 reel and hold on to your seat

More of a review of Amazon than the bait itself. I've used these spinnerbaits plenty of times and they're great. Just don't buy them from Amazon unless they're dirt cheap. I saw these on sale, Shipped and Sold by Amazon, and figured why not throw one in the cart to have another.The skirt was so stiff it would hold the bait up, and brittle so it was stored wrong and/or extremely old. I would stay away unless you have extra skirts on hand to swap. If you do, and they're the right price...
