Waring Commercial WCO250X Quarter Size Pan Convection Oven, 120V, 5-15 Phase Plug

I searched high and low for months and months to find a good Toaster oven that is small enough tofit on the countertop and has stainless interior.Apparently this is the smaller size out there. It is NOT small by no means. It is big but if t his isthe price for having stainless interior so be it.I wish I could buy smaller one but I could not find one. This one though has so many featuersand is gorgeous that is instant keeper.HOW BIG IS IT?It is big. It is about the size of a microwave, the one people usually have above the stove or in other places in the kitchen. Not Quite as wide as the microwave usually span across he entire stove, so this one does not. It is not as wide.HOW DEEP IS IT?oh it is pretty darn deep. but it is because it has a convection in it therefore that thingy sticks out mighty.So overall once you put it on your standard countertop, you will ahve only some 7 or so inchesof space in front of it.. not much to put anything on it but also who cares.DOES IT GET HOT?Oh yah baby. It does. But that is why it is called OVEN. It does get hot so you need to strategize!Place away from anything that can burn. But so worth it.WHAT DO I LOVE ABOUT IT?..= STAINLESS STEEL INTERIOR is an absolute winner feature. You told me it has it and I am sold... then whatever else it has it is a pure bonus.- I love that it has three individual easy to set dials, not confusing like many of those digital ones that are cool looking and work for five minutes and then nothing makes sense anymore.. it hasone dial for function: bake, broil.. etc.one dial for temperatures..one dial for timer..so operating this is a walk in a park and a breeze. I love how you can set either the top heating elementto operate or bottom or both.. many ovens out there don't have that, it is either bottom or both... or other nonsense.I love the looks.. OH MY GOODNESS! It is so gorgeous you just go aaaaaah.. every time you look at it.I Love the stainless shelves and insert... of course nothing less I would expect.I am very very very happy with it.What I would change if I could? If Ic ould have it smaller I would.. but then again.. this is quarter sheet cakecapacityyes let's say it again:QUARTER SHEET CAPACITY!! so in other words it takes a cake pan that is size of a quarter sheetcake... if you still don't know what is it, those are the smallest rectangular cakes that you sawat b parties or at the store. That is a good size.It has three tiers so you can fit a lot stuff.I already bought on amazon more stainless pans all stainless like quarter sheetmini muffins and cookie sheets and spring form so I am all set to go big...This thing is really dreamy and I am mesmerized by it.

Got this a month ago (May, 2022), and was very pleased with it until the door hinge broke after the fourth or fifth use. Reached out to Waring Customer Service and..... crickets. No response whatever. So no, I don't recommend this oven, and I don't recommend Waring. I am now the proud owner of an $839 boat anchor.UPDATE: Contacted Waring Customer Service (Now ConAir) by phone, and was asked to email a picture of the broken part and my receipt, and we would get quick service. Emailed the requested info, and.... nothing. Not even an acknowledgement of the email. Still very disappointed, and unlikely to buy a Waring product again.

I love that I can turn the convection on or off for any setting. It takes a while to heat up to 400 degrees, but it cooks perfectly.I will warn that the instructions to set up say you need 4" clearance on sides and above oven--so measure your space. I don't think this was mentioned in the listing.I am particularly impressed with the packaging. The outer box was quite damaged and the inner styrofoam packing was destroyed, but the oven was in perfect shape. The packaging did it's job!I have only used it a few times so I will try to remember to update this later. I understand it is a big purchase!

Bought for my coffee shop in July 2022. It is left on all day while we are open. Works perfectly. However, we need to buy a new one soon. The door hinge isn't connected anymore. But we do open and close all day long so that was expected. Today is October 2024. So 2 years of continued daily use

I contacted Waring (Conair) because the racks wouldn’t slide in without hard pressure and scraping against the sides. Turned out it wasn’t just that the dimensions of the racks were too wide on one end by 1/8”” or more, but also that the distance between the insides of the oven wasn’t consistent, being much narrower about half way between the top and bottom. There was also a rattle as the convection fan started and stopped. Some screws around the inside edges of the door were not even finger tight, but tightening them made no difference. The Waring customer service rep was initially very interested and requested photos of everything. They then said that they wanted to refund/replace the oven…then abruptly said that their entire stock was now unavailable due to quality control inspection requirements. That was the last email response I ever received, despite several follow-up attempts. I guess they’d had enough and realized that there was nothing to gain by responding. Anyway, I returned the oven through Amazon. I later bought a used oven of the exact same model - manufactured 8 years ago, I think - for less than 25% of the price for new. I thoroughly cleaned it up and it looks beautiful. The stainless steel interior is really nice. It works very well, except that it heats to 125-150 deg F above the set temperature! (I use a pair of identical NSF oven thermometers to verify my thermostats.) So, I have to do a little math to accurately set temperatures, BUT…I now also have a really decent PIZZA OVEN for cooking handmade pizza on a stone at about 650 F! (That’s with the thermostat set to the maximum of “500 F.”) Awesome, put probably not prudent. Replacement thermostat is readily available, so I’ll eventually have what I set out to get. I imagine a new model would be excellent if assembled soundly and consistent with the design. Good luck with that.

Bought from Amazon in February 2021. Residential use by one person since then. Now in October 2022, the oven is malfunctioning. It won't get hotter than 300 degrees.This oven is supposed to be NSF certified and commercial grade. It should not malfunction so soon, out of warranty, especially since its use has been light.And there is nowhere within driving distance where I can get an out-of-warranty repair.

I bought this 3 years ago and it's still going strong. I searched for months trying to find a toaster oven that doesn't have some sort of non-stick material inside. This is all stainless steel. The downside of that is that it's a bit difficult to clean inside especially if you don't clean it regularly after every use. Once the grease gets caked on its harder to clean, but I find those stainless steel sponge pads work pretty well at getting the job done! I also love that it has a convection option since my regular oven doesn't. And it's the perfect size for just one person, maybe two. I assume it uses less energy than a regular size oven but I'm not entirely sure about that. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I purchased the Waring convection oven and it arrived today (Apr 14, 2022). The shipping box was in fairly good condition and the oven was carefully unpacked and put on the counter. The oven certainly feels like its very good quality - - it feels heavy and substantial and certainly not flimsy. I was initially very impressedI quickly noticed though that the top part of the oven or the stainless steel casing seemed to be raised in the centre of the oven at the top of the unit. I wasn’t sure if this was how it was designed or if this was warped. I then noticed that the door doesn’t close properly and the door itself is not flush with the rest of the unit. I think the arm on the right side is loose because the door feels a bit wobbly on the right side - See Pictures 1 to 4 of what I am talking about.I did try the oven out to see how well it worked and I will say I was impressed with the results - -I decided to turn the oven on to “Convection Bake” at 450 degrees. I had a lemon meringue pie and needed to brown the meringue topping. I waited and waited and waited for the oven to pre-heat.I was busy doing other things in the kitchen and kept hearing the odd “popping” noise or “bang” and assumed this was the brand new Waring convection oven heating up . . .but it was taking long to heat up, so I took a closer look.There is something expanding between the stainless steel enclosure and the oven itself. I don’t know if the heat was causing this expansion but I could also tell that the oven was taking so long to heat up because the heat was also leaking from gap in the upper door.I took a picture of the expanding material which is exactly where the top of the case is raised or separating from the unit. I have since unplugged the unit and feel it might not be safe to use as this gap only seemed to be getting worse.I will say though that the lemon meringue pie was PERFECTLY done – Very even cooking and it only seemed to take 5 minutes once I got the over up to 450. I was really looking forward to using this oven and though I’d be good buying from a well known American name.Some other things I can say about this Waring oven - - - The fan is certainly powerful and from my limited experience with this specific oven, this powerful fan really blows the heat around. I did see some feedback from others that said the fan is too loud. I didn’t find it too loud and I have a very small kitchen. Yes, it does make noise but I found it quite tolerable and the oven is doing exactly what it should be doing on the convection setting.I was also a little surprised that the oven door itself doesn’t seem to have a full seal all around the door - - -but perhaps this is by design or maybe this too is a flaw? I suspect its by design but would love to know.I’ve had a countertop convection oven for years by Cuisinart and this oven had a full seal - - you could always tell because of the fairly audible and noticeable “whoosh” sound when the door is opened, then closed - - -like a vacuum seal.I did purchase this oven at a low price - 680.00 CND and it was listed as “NEW” and perhaps this was a mistake or priced wrong but I notice now that the same oven by the same seller is suddenly priced well over 950.00 CND now - - -I had hoped to work with Warning to get this replaced or even repaired - - - I’m sure there are distributors in Canada - - -Despite this, I would like to use the Waring oven but want one that isn’t like what is shown in the pictures I posted.So, if you are reading this, its because I was not able to contact the seller directly for product support or the only option made available to me was to return the item for refund but I’m not going to buy it again for $350.00 more.I did purchase the extended warranty because I had hoped to have this for sometime. As it stands, it’s arrived damaged, so the policy is not applicable and I’ll have to cancel this too - - -I also purchased new pans/racks based on the ¼ sheet size of this oven - - -So, not too pleased right now and this is the second time I buy a larger item from Amazon only to have it arrive damaged. I’m starting to think I should be making these types of purchases locally and not online.I’ll update this feedback/comments as appropriate.Thanks for reading.
