I make charity quilts for children and found that the 45" x 60" size of this batting is absolutely perfect for the majority of these quilts, which are usually 40" x 50" for the final size. I find that the batting is soft enough, yet firm enough to create a quilt of high quality which, when washed, crinkles beautifully! When I make quilts slightly larger in size, I find that I am able to join one strip on one side to make it big enough. Not sure this is recommended by the manufacturer, but I haven't found it to be a problem. This size is so much easier for me to handle than cutting down a larger size and it results in much less waste. Quilts like a breeze with either long arm or domestic machines. Have purchased more than a dozen times and find it to perform well consistently.

For my needs, this is the best cotton batting. I do a lot of quilting and my needles for the hand needlework slide through it well. The best value!

I wanted a batting that would not fall apart. This quilt will last for many years. The batting was easy to work with and gave the quilt a nice feel. The excellent quality will keep this quilt's texture and shape after many washings.

Love that the size is much more manageable than the much larger ones I usually buy. The price is good too. Very happy with this product

My favorite batting for both hand and machine quilting. Doesn't need to be closely quilted. Spray with mister then dry in dryer to preshrink a little. Gets out any wrinkles as well. Because it is all cotton, I don't worry about using it in crib quilts.

The batting was very good in feel, weight, and sewability. But because of possible shrinkage I had to precast it.
