install was lengthy but I found the instructions very clear. Don't get in a hurry and you will be fine. Must have some mechanical skills and access to some intermediate tools. The only complaint I had was the hook at the end of the cable was loosely fastened. I cut off the cable installed a U loop for the cable to go around and installed my own aluminum cable ties You are probably ok with it as is but it looked to me like an early opportunity for a kinked cable end.

The mounting plate specifically made for this unit wasn't easy to fit on my 2023 Mule, despite being designed for it. The winch works well, but installation was pretty challenging - probably more of a mounting plate issue than a winch issue. 4 stars for now, maybe update to 5 stars after more use.

I got this for my 2006 Polaris Sportsman 450. I had t to get the mounting plate separately here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010AWO7MO?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Mounting was pretty easy, the winch came with all the needed wiring and good instructions on how to install. Luckily, my ATV already had a factory installed contractor block and the wiring running back to the battery. I just had to mount the winch onto the plate and run the wiring to the ignition on power and the winch. I did remove the front bumper, top cover/storage bin and the front plastics to make it easier to run and secure the wiring. The winch seams to run well but I haven't tried to pull anything with it yet. It should be more than powerful enough to pull this ATV out of mud and snow. I have a Sportsman 500 HO with a smaller Warn winch and it handles the load fine.

Installed on a 2005 Suzuki kingquad 700. Immediately switched to synthetic rope. Keeping metal cable as a winch extension. Drug my atv uphill with me and the wheels locked on it and it didn’t care. Good winch for the money. Just wished it came with a sticker or two.

I installed this winch on my 2019 Suzuki KingQuad 750 and it fitted perfectly. It’s a well made heavy duty winch and it has mighty strong pulling power…. The install was easy but wish they would have clearer electrical schenatic for installation. The one provided was confusing..
