I've followed Warwood for a bit now because I love their history and how they live it to this day, a small outfit in a shop in West Virginia making fantastic tools. So of course I had to check out a mini sledge from them, and I'm happy with my purchase.The head is drop forged, stamped by hand, and has a good handle on it to bring it all together. The faces have the look of someone who ground them by hand, and knew what they were doing and took the time to do it right, even for being hand-finished they're shaped well for the task of giving things a 4-pound whack.

Consume less, save, and then pay the little extra for USA and Canadian manufactured products when you do decide it time to make a purchase. If we do that, we all come out ahead.

Heavy duty 2 lb sledge hammer can be used with one hand. The wooden grip is easy to hold and firmly attached to the head. It is a simple tool made correctly.This would receive 5 stars except the shipping was ridiculous. I received an empty paper bag for the original shipment. It obviously was not strong enough to hold a large tool. Amazon reshipped it in a box with proper padding the second time around.
