This large 2-liter water bag is made from a thick TPU material and feels quite durable. It has a wide end for scooping up lake/river/rain water for filling and a 28mm threaded end for attaching to a water filter, like a Sawyer mini. From my experience, once filled and closed up tight, it didn’t leak at all from either end. It comes with 2 handy carabiner hooks for hanging. It stores flat or rolled up until needed and barely weighs anything so it’s easy to add to a hiking pack or a bug-out bag. Along with a filter, this is a great way to ensure you will always have access to clean water for drinking or cooking while hiking or during emergencies.

Great addition to my camping and hiking gear! The system was compatible with my sawyer squeeze and was the main reason I wanted to try it. The bag was thick and felt very strong without being overly bulky. Easy to roll up and stash in my pack. The mouth is wide and easy to fill. You can hang it if you have a gravity filter set up. This is a solid alternative to more expensive bags. Not for UL hikers, but they usually aren't usually using this type of system anyway.

Well, this one is difficult because it vanished within 24 hours. It appears someone stole it because it hasn't turned up with extensive looking. Someone really wanted it more than I. I've shopped for these before, I rather wanted it too. I shouldn't have left it where there was some access to it. [Censored.]I did get a chance to handle it a little. The slider is tight as you would want it to be. It did create a little pucker in the bag near the end. I didn't get a chance to fill it with water and see if that affected it. I didn't get a chance to see how well it fits my HydroBlu Versa Flow filter. (All the reports it fits Sawyer are great, but I'm not going back.) I didn't get the chance to weigh it and compare to my usual system with a Platypus and a bit of rope through holes in the back and a cut Sawyer bag (because those bags are really awful) to use as a scoop or water channel. I certainly didn't get a chance to see if it is an easier system.I'm not worried about the lack of tether on the cap/slider. The only cap I had with a tether got detached because it was more bother than it was worth. I have pockets. I wouldn't have trousers without them.

This bag seems like it's a fair duplicate of the CNOC bag it is replicating. It doesn't leak from either seal. The bag seems to be the same material as the original so I'm guessing it's just as durable. Still, I don't intend to drive over it. The filter threads on smoothly with no leakage. The bag works as it should. No complaints.

I've used the CNOC Vecto X on all my backpacking trips for the last 2 years, and I love the product. When I saw this low cost knockoff, I wanted to test and see how it compares. Often I take friends backpacking with me, and I wanted to know if this was a budget-friendly alternative that I could recommend.First, this product is meant to be used with a water filter like the Sawyer Squeeze. If you buy a normal Sawyer Squeeze from Amazon, it comes with these kinda cheap bags that you can fill up with water from a stream, and then push through the water filter to get clean water for drinking. The standard bags are okay, but also frustrating to use because they have such a small opening to take in water. The innovation of the CNOC Vecto is that it has a standard threaded opening that connects to the water filter, but the other end folds open into this large scoop that you can use to take in a ton of water really quickly. So, no more hunching over a stream waiting for your water bag to slowly fill up.For reference, here's the original CNOC Vecto 2 liter:https://www.amazon.com/Cnoc-Outdoors-Container-Thread-Orange/dp/B07QBQ894L/This product from VANPET appears to be a pretty direct match for the CNOC Vecto. However, there are a few differences:- The cap does not screw on with a water-tight seal. For mine, it leaked 1 or 2 drops of water every few seconds. A lot of people like to use these bags to carry extra water, and then filter it only when they need it. The slow leak in this bag means it wouldn't work for that use case.- The cap lacks any kind of string to connect it to the bag, so it would be easy to lose when you're hunched over a stream.- The sliding lock that closes the other side of the bag also lacks a string to connect it to the bag, so that's another critical part that might go missing while you're in the backcountry. It's worth noting that the CNOC Vecto includes durable plastic straps that keep the cap and the sliding lock attached to the bag at all times. It also has a cap that closes water-tight.The net result is that this VANPET item is about $9 cheaper than the CNOC Vecto, but it has significantly reduced capabilities. If you're really trying to save every dollar you can, then perhaps this is an okay option. But for most people, I'd recommend you spend the extra $9 to get a higher quality product AND support the company that originated this design!Actually, my best recommendation is to skip the Vecto and get the "Vecto X" for a couple dollars more. It's basically the same product, but with a thicker and more durable design that is better for avoiding pinhole leaks over time.Check out the Vecto X here:https://www.amazon.com/VectoX-Durable-Water-Container-Thread/dp/B0BSWJCWRN/

This is a great addition to my hiking bag. No more having to only carry filtration straws, i can carry this bag with my Sawyer Mini Filter and have 2L at a time water. The bag itself is very well made. Not super thick, but thick enough to be durable enough to hold up to usage out in the woods or even at a campsite. Attach your filter, fill it up, hang it and have drinkable water. The bag needs a filter, no ways around that... kinda pointless without one. Made to be used with filter. The top folding flap and the sliding top lock works great to keep it locked shut and hang it with mini carabiner clip. Excellent addition to camping, hiking or bug out bag ..... just make sure to have the right filter for it.
