I have a Rottie Lab mix allergic to most things known to man and dog. He is also an aggressive chewer that doesn't care much for antlers unfortunately. These 9' buffalo cheek roll chews are THE ONLY chews I have found so far that last more than a few minutes. In fact, they'd last 2-3 hours if I let him chew that long. I take it away after half an hour because it's rich and they're expensive so I want them to last longer a day! It does get messy once he makes it all wet and slimy with saliva but I just make him eat it on a wipeable mat. I tried a blanket and the smell and sticky pieces do not wash off well and mess up the washer. So beware! Just use a mat under and then wipe.They are not cheap but they are my only option for this dog. My other medium sized dog loves it too and ditches her beef chews to get a taste of these. They growl at each other over these treats which is rare because they are a bonded couple. She is older and her teeth aren't great anymore but these still work for her. They both love the crunchy part wrapped onto the "bone." I would highly recommend these, I have these on subscription. I just wish they were cheaper so I could give these daily.

Get a gas mask if you use them in the house....I am a dog trainer who works a lot of anxious dogs, anxious dogs often have issues settling to chew and relax. The girl in the photo is one of them, she's an abuse case here for rehab. I could only get her to chew if I got her brain in perfect focus. What a lot of people don't know is that the more it stinks the more likely the anxious dog will take to it. And she loves it... she is a high strung herding dog mix, so the fact that she's settling with a bone is huge... so 5 out of 5 despite/because the smell...

Love this product. Healthy bone substitute.. high protein.. jerky wrapped around keeps dog interested. Good value for money. 9 inches. Good size.. big dogs can hold and chew. The product is hard.. but as dogs chew on it. It softens. Has a funny smell to me.. but dogs didn't mind. Only reason I gave four stars was package came with a giant hole in it . Was in a box. So not sure if that's Amazon or product..

This is basically the only product that my dogs don’t demolish within minutes. It’s very very tough and I love that it’s just Buffalo cheek that softens as they gnaw at it. This keeps my dogs busy for hours. It is very messy though, so I try to have a dish of warm water handy when they’re done to clean up their messy paws. Well worth it though. Definitely worth the money!

My dog (lab/pit mix super chewer) loves these and is kept busy for a long time however, these smell soooo bad. I had to light a candle and it still didn't cover the smell. I took it away from him after about an hour and he hadn't made a dent in it but I couldn't take the smell anymore. I will see if I can freeze the rest until summer when my dog can have it outside.

Absolutely love these! Our dog is a chewer, and these definitely last awhile. They don’t smell funny, aren’t bleached and I think a good price compared to many other natural chews. I recommended these to my sister & her dogs love them, too. These are gonna stay in the chew arsenal for sure!

My dogs are what some would call power chewers. Average treats and chew toys don't ever last more than a few minutes. I don't give them raw hide due to possibility of blockages but these are excellent! My doges love them, they last all day and sometimes into the next day depending.. i use them as a treat so they don't get them very often. These are also fully digestible so I dint have to stress about them getting caught somewhere in their system.

i used to buy outback jack cheek rolls for my lab, but cant find them anymore. i decided to try this brand to see how they stand up to aggressive chewing and i am impressed. my lab has been chewing on this for almost 2 hrs now and he still has most of it. it is really pricey to me, but for an occasional treat i will keep buying them as i can afford.
