We used these socks to hike The Narrows at Zion National Park, along with mesh sneakers with good tread we already had. The socks kept our feet warm and comfortable, and fit inside our regular sneakers even though they were of course a bit more snug.The XS was a little loose on my 7-year-old, but nevertheless, he could comfortably wear these in his youth size 2 shoes, and he was very happy with them, both dry and in the water. The Velcro strap kept them in place very well and they didn’t slip down. I think these might be acceptable on a foot as small as a youth 1. Our friends with younger kids also had good success with high-quality wool hiking socks in the cold river water instead of the neoprene, since these are the smallest neoprene socks we could find available.I’m glad I bought these for the trip rather than renting footwear. This was a lot cheaper and seemed to work just as well for the distance we could reasonably go with the kids.

I ended up returning these because I didn’t know the difference between socks and boots. Socks are thinner and have no sole The water immediately seeped in these but was warm. If you’re looking for socks they would be terrific although they were a little roomy. I thought they were worth the price for socks and they came in a ziplocked bag which was a nice addition.

Water still gets inside & I still feel the coldness of water when I first get into the pool. I like the fit & the feel of it on my feet, although it doesn’t keep your feet that warm as described.

I used these neoprene socks when I hiked the narrows at Zion in Utah. It kept my feet warm and comfortable the entire time. The thickness is great, I didn't feel like I needed to wear another pair of socks in my hiking shoes. Im so shocked how well it worked. I would definitely recommend!!

We purchased two pair of these neoprene socks for river hiking in Utah and Zion National park in particular. These worked great, were comfortable with my water hiking shoes and the price was low. I recommend them to anyone. I bought small for myself (woman with size 7 shoe) and medium for my husband (8 1/2 shoe in mens). Perfect fit for us both.

We live at the beach in Northern California - water isn't exactly warm here. I couldn't believe that for the low price, these booties keep my feet warm in the ocean. They are very thin, so might not work for sharp rock areas, but for me, the main need was warmth wading at the beach and boogie boarding and it provides that.

Had them 3 days and by the 3rd day of surfing the heals had big holes in them and it looked like it went through a blender. These are super cheap spend a little more and get a better product I'm so disappointed.
