I am using this to bypass the built-in switching on a 12v water pump used on a RO system. Set it to In at 50 , out at 60. Works perfect. I have purchased a few of these over the last 50 years and this switch is a higher quality than anything I have used to date. Didn't need the second one, but doesn't hurt to have a spare. First, this switch does exactly what it is designed for. 60-80 psi pressure for well pumps. It can be easily adjusted to lower or even higher pressures. I got it to 70-90 very easily, while the differential pressure stayed around 20 psi. Please note: You should never adjust your home well pressure for more than 80psi max.Second, the materials are of a good quality. The steel frame and parts have a chomate coating to help prevent rust. The entrances for the wires have very nice rubber seals that seal and protect the wires very well.And 2 for $20? Heck yeah! Just save the other if you don't need it.

I bought this 2 pack, and first one failed after 3 months burning up contacts, so I installed second one that worked for about 3 months, and one of contacts were burnt. So I thought issue was too much current, so Installed a 30 amp contractor, and found that this switch never fully disengages cleanly making contractor to chatter and burn up its contacts too. This caused the pump to burn up, costing $500 to replace well. Now purchased a Merrill switch (don’t need contractor if switch works properly). Stay far away from these defective switches. I purchased last July (2024), seller still selling these DEFECTIVE devices.

It's working, but it should come on at 60psi and stop at 80, my pressure gauge only goes to 100psi and this has pegged it, it comes on anywhere from 60-80 and It fills my tank to 95-100+PSI

These don’t switch back and forth completely. They switch off at the cutoff pressure then just chatter on and off at the cut in pressure. Really hard on pump. I just bought a good American brand instead and it’s all good now.
