Currently in use on my '68 El Camino SS until I find the time to R&R the entire dash in order to repair the factory temperature gauge. Looks good hanging under the dash and gives me confidence to drive in the summer and know that the engine temp is okay. Installation was straightforward.

Doesn’t work out of the box. Spent five ours of my life wiring this perfectly. Soldering connectors, shrink tubing, routing etc. Connect it, test it, needle doesn’t move when sender heated up. Don’t expect to have a socket around small enough for the microscopic terminals and bolts too. once i finally found something small enough, i couldnt tighten the bolts fully because the bottom bolt would just spin. Tested sender in heated water, heat gun, ohm meter etc. Shows correct ohms so guage itself just doesn’t work. I don’t care about the money, I care about all the time I spent with this and customizing the routing in my boat for it. Just terrible. One star just because I had to to send the review.

It’s great I only use it to check my temperature of my transmission and it’s accurate too.

the engine is running at 155 f and the gauge is indicating 240 f on the red line with a 180 f thermostat not good eather the sensor or the gauge is not good
