AquaVial allows you to see what is in your water quickly; pour the water into the provided test vials to see if the water changes colour. If the water turns yellow, it is safe; if the water turns purple, E.coli or coliform bacteria are present (colour chart provided). AquaVial can detect as little as 1 CFU/ml of E.coli and coliform bacteria and is very reliable.
AquaVial is a cost-friendly option that identifies water quality issues before becoming a severe health hazard; the box contains 8 coliform/E.coli tests. It can be used to test the your tap and well water, water in pipes, showers, pools or hot tubs to ensure total microbial levels are safe and can be stored for up to 2 years (unlike standard test strips, which last for one year).

Tested my water three times with these test and they came back negative each time. Sent the water to the state lab twice, came back positive both times. Completely in accurate for coliform bacteria, apparently.

I did two test for bacteria. I could hardly see any think at top of water or color to indecate bacteria.The second test had nothing at top of water or color after 48 hours. Took two samples to state both showed bacteria.After 5 days second sample turned red showing bacteria.Throwing away the rest of the samples bottles do not trust them.
