Product Description

THE NATURAL HOT TUB COMPANY

hot tub

Enzymes work differently from chemicals because they don’t get “used up”, they are "recyclable." Our enzymes maintain their effectiveness for up to 3 months

With this formula, we have a set of “master” enzymes that have been effective but at the same time keep the formula 100% safe for people, plants, animals and our environment. The Natural Hot Tub Company Bio-Prepase, (Water Treatment & Conditioner), enzymes have some fascinating properties. Most enzymes are effective at lower temperature ranges. Natural Hot Tub Company’s Bio-Prepase enzymes are different because they continue to work all the way up to 180 degrees F! Very few enzymes can tolerate – much less thrive – at this temperature.

THE "ORIGINAL" ENZYME SOLUTION

Saves Money - Less Maintenance - Less Chemicals

All products have been tested and proven safe and effective for over 35 years. 100% non-toxic to children, pets, fish, birds, plants, rivers, streams, and ponds! The Natural Hot Tub Company uses 14 different enzymes in its Bio-Prepase (Water Treatment & Conditioner) formula.

We tested thousands of different formulas over a period of years to find just the right mixture of enzymes that were effective. Enzymes simply “jump start” bio-chemical reactions. They are present in all living cells and are very specific in what chemical reactions they catalyze.

penetrating spa cleanser

ALL NATURAL PENERATING SPA CLEANSER

The First Step to Clean Water

Use to aid in cleaning away chemical residues and contaminates which have built up deep inside your spa's plumbing, fittings, and equipment. These chemicals are oxidizers that continuously eat away at spa pumps, plumbing, and seals thus lowering the life expectancy of your spa and decreasing its efficiency. We highly recommend using the cleanser for first time users of our products, first to remove all excess build up of contaminants in your spa's system, then once a year as a deep cleaner.

ALL NATURAL WATER TREATMENT & CONDITIONER

Cleans, Softens and Conditions Water

Keeps spa water clean, clear, and soft for up to 3 months. One 16oz bottle treats up to a 500 gallon spa. Leaves skin feeling silky smooth with no odors. Helps stabilize pH and alkalinity. Reduces or eliminates the need for many additional spa chemicals. Uses natural power of enzymes to clean and soften water, as well as medical grade lanolin to eliminate dry, irritated, or itchy skin.

I’ve been using this for about a year. It’s been really good. I like not having to use harsh chemicals and worry about keeping my water just right. I pour the bottle in when I clean the filter. I use it every three months. So far, so good.

See edit below......Sorry folks but I searched far and wide for an all natural enzyme water treatment for my new outdoor spa. The first thing I did was try to contact The Natural Hotub Company from their website asking how their product would perform with an upgraded Delzone Ozonator I had installed in the spa. I never heard back from them.I thought I would try the product anyway to keep my water clear and PH balanced for the reported 3 month period they said it would work with minimal chemicals besides using new ozonator as the main oxidizer. My water started getting cloudy within 9 days and the PH was already getting lower than 6.8 in that short time period. I also used a high end Unicel filter with the spa. Also I didn't feel the silky smooth water the product was supposed to create.I used a full bottle in a 375 gallon Sundance Altamar Spa which gets used by one person normally 3 nights a week for 30 minutes each time. Spa was only 90 days old and water was already changed once since then for warranty work. I didn't see any benefits beyond purchasing a generic enzyme treatment (e.g. Leisure Time) which is a treat water as needed method. As a matter of fact, the treat water as needed enzyme is significantly less expensive over three month. I won't be purchasing another bottle of The Natural Hot Tub Company Water Treatment and Conditioner.Edit 11/17/23: I am changing my tune on this product. After a couple of weeks my water started to stabilize along with the PH, and the water remained clear with only ozone filtering. I did not need to add chorine and had to shock the water only a couple of times over two and a half months. The water was crystal clear with no other chemical treatments so there was definitely an improvement compared to how much chorine and shock treatments & liquid enzyme I was using prior to using The Natural Hot Tub Company Water Treatment. It naturally decreased tremendously the amount of attention I needed to spend on spa maintenance as well. Due to reoccurring issues with my spa jets, my spa Mfg. is replacing my spa with a new one and I am purchasing another bottle for the new spa. I am not giving it 5 stars because it took a couple of weeks for the product to stabilize and the company did not respond to my inquiries.

First, I would like to share that I am not affiliated with The Natural Hot Tub Company or receiving any compensation for my review.I have had a hot tub for 30+ years and have had unsatisfactory results with chlorine, bromine and another natural water treatment product. Chlorine and bromine were hard on my hot tub and cover, Even though I tested the water weekly, I had trouble keeping the chemicals in balance. I always ended up with chemical odors and a tub that was hard to clean. I tried another natural product that left sticky water level rings around the tub.The Natural Hot Tub Company products have eliminated all of the unhappy results that I have dealt with for years. I have been using this system for a year now and I love it! With this system, I don't have to test my water. All I do is add a small amount of shock once a week, add the prescribed amount of water treatment every three months and clean my filter once a month. The water is always clear, odor free and soft on my skin. I recently drained and cleaned my tub for the first time in about year and there was no residue, water level ring or mold on my tub or cover. I think that the success that I have had with this product is due to following the prescribed process of converting my tub to the new system. You can't just add this product to your existing tub and expect good results. After using this product for about six months, my water became a bit cloudy. I called the company and they recommended that I replace the filter and be sure to run the filter system at least 8 hours a day. Sure enough, that took care of the problem. Now I clean my filter once a month as recommended and have not had a problem with cloudy water since.

We used the cleaner first, emptied the hot tub and followed all the directions and within three days our water was cloudy and smelled. Then a ring formed around the waterline. We had to go to the spa company and get the proper cleaner and “natural” chemicals. The new cleaner got so much gunk out. We had to empty the tub again and use the correct chemicals. It’s been a week and the water is still perfect. Brought this bottle in and he said lots of people have used this only for to not work. This tells me that this cleaner and water treatment does not work at all. Don’t waste your money! Go to the spa store and get the right stuff!!

Just after I cleaned my hot tub (with the product made by The Natural Hot Tub that requires you run the tub for days--a huge power commitment!) and added half a bottle of this product, I was skeptical. There was a slightly unpleasant smell at first which faded. I came to realize it was my filter (I use a reusable filter media that I can wash in the washing machine; even though I wash with strong hydrogen peroxide I think it retained a bit of the funk from before) but that went away pretty quickly (I think this product gradually neutralized the filter too). It's been a month at least. I haven't changed/washed the filter (I know, right?) and I haven't shocked it once. It smells like nothing and feels silky clean. I highly recommend. I think I'll go change my filter now, haha!
