First, it's an acrylic housing with a big acrylic dome. These can scratch easily. Even pro-quality camera housings will scratch, so be cautious when using or storing it. The seal is a heavy gasket, not an O-ring. The case is a clamshell, hinged at the top. Four clamps hold it closed, and there's two buttons to control the camera. I'm not a fan of the buttons - they're basically two metal posts pressing against the camera's buttons. These really need feet or pads to protect the camera buttons.I would not use it on rainy or foggy days. The camera will simply shoot a video of the water droplets gathering on the domes.

This Insta360 X4 waterproof case is very well-made. Nice solid plastic all around. Fits my X4 perfectly with access to the buttons inside. Mounts perfectly onto all my tripod and hinge mounts. Overall very happy with this waterproof case!

Its waterproof. But the only i dont like when i make video its not clear because of the the cover you can see its different znd some are blurred.thats why i return it.
