I want you to know this is my second purchase of this item due to my error. I washed the first one on sanitize and it tore it apart. I guess I should of just used warm or cool but because dog peeing on it wanted to make sure it was clean- well it’s clean but no longer usable ☹ï¸

My dog has been experiencing some incontinence in her older age, especially when she sleeps deeply, so I was thrilled to find a waterproof duvet cover to protect my bed. Unfortunately, this one was a bit of a disappointment. The material is very thin and feels very cheap. It did help to protect my duvet, but was not completely waterproof (and she doesn't pee a lot in her sleep -- it's only a medium wet spot -- so it's not like it was completely soaked).I washed it once per the instructions in the listing (gentle cycle, cold water, tumble dry with no heat) and the cover tore. It is just not very durable, which would be fine for an inexpensive $25-$30 cover, but absolutely not for +$80.I bought a different waterproof cover on Amazon that IS waterproof and feels durable. Unfortunately, it is a bit heavy and does make you warmer than normal overnight. It probably won't be much of an issue in the winter, but we are still having days in the 80°'s and 90°'s so that's not ideal. But, I would rather deal with that than pay over $80 for something that's about as thin and durable as a garbage bag.

It felt plasticity, the inner lining ripped very soon after purchase, and the duvet did not stay in place.

I have a really expensive duvet insert. I have a puppy that isn't potty trained. My dog pees on the bed a lot. I can wash the insert but just barely so it's not something I want to do every time the puppy pees in my bed. So just on it's own merit - it does keep the pee off the insert so it works as designed. The comforter was completely dry and uncontaminated.It surprised me, exceeded my expectations.Until I got my duvet protector, I thought all waterproof bed items were lie.

I got this because my cats have peed on the bed more often this past year.Despite having corner ties, the blanket with this cover shifted around the outer duvet cover like crazy. Bunched up and I couldn’t really ever get it right.Unfortunately my cats put it to the test and it worked! Duvet was totally dry. I did catch it right as it happened, so no idea if there’s risk if the urine sat longer.I opted for air drying and it’s taking all day. I’ve had to flip it inside out now to air dry the inside. Will definitely give low tumble dry a try next time.

My cat pees on my bed almost every day due to behavioral. So I just lay it on top my of my comforter instead of actually putting my comforter in it because i don’t want to take it out every single time he pees. But it works. It didn’t leak through

Comforter slides around in the cover because once air enters the cover, it becomes trapped & similar to the parachute rainbow you floated up and ran under in elementary school, only you’re trying to sleep under it. Not at all breathable & very crunchy. Washing it was an issue, as it turned out to not be completely water proof, so once some water made its way inside, it was trapped in there and couldn’t easily be dumped back out.

At the end of the day, the product does what it is supposed to and is instrumental in helping us protect the comforter while we night-time potty-train our kids. However, as we have washed the product on a gentle cycle the inside liner is starting to shred. Additionally, the zipper pull is so tiny that it has already snapped off. If you want better quality and durability, I would choose a different product
