We have a Champion 8500-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter.
This cover fits it nicely with some room to spare. It has velcro tags good for anchoring it to wheels or handles to keep it in place when it’s windy.It also has cinch pulls on the bottom to help snug it up around the base of the generator.One side opens and then can be velcrode down. The other side has a covered mesh flap. Not sure what tha’t for. Maybe to help moisture get out.This is not a running cover. Its material seems durable and should provide a nice water proof barrier but I would not run the generator with this on.The openable flap is nice I guess but if it’s not a running cover as I would define one and I would have just left all sides closed and connected.I would think most generators would need the ventilation of both sides being open plus ours has a CO2 censure that will trip if we try to run it under this cover.If you care about appearance this is an ice cover if you generator sits outside. But you could also use a tarp and a bungie to keep it dry and covered from the elements.34 bucks aint bad but you could do the job cheaper if looks don’t matter.For the money you could get one with openable flaps on both sides.All in all not a bad cover but would be great if the back side opened as well.As always shop around.

Being a generic size this cover is slightly larger than my Firman generator requires, but it is a solid choice to cover the generator. Material seems sturdy and is stiff enough to stay in place. The flap is a nice feature for those that can use them at the back of the generator. My generator has controls on the side so the back flap is less useful for that purpose, but that is where the exhaust is for my generator so I can run the it in the rain if necessary with the flap up. It is a nice design compared to fixed covers without flaps.

Got this so my generator won’t be covered in dust from sitting in the shed. It fits good and it feels of good quality. Cheap enough so no issues. Looks great.

This is a great generator cover and does a really good job of protecting my generator from the elements. I live in Florida and keep my generator outside on the side of my house for 6 months out of the year during hurricane season. This cover protects my generator from the Florida heat, humidity, and rain. The velcro straps and cinch cord help to keep the cover secure--even during hurricane force winds. I have a pretty large generator (Westinghouse 18000 watt tri-fuel) and this cover fits it really well.
