My wife often wears loafers, flats or tennis shoes, but needs rain protection. She keeps these in a little drawstring bag and wears them in wet weather to protect her regular shoes. They've come in handy on more than a few occasions. They are very water resistant, and you can secure your pants into the top of them, protecting your feet and ankles. If you live in an area with lots of wet weather, these may become your regular shoes' best friend.

One elastic strap did come off from the part that holds the cover more snugly around my foot, but even without them, they work great. Good material and works well for my motorcycle during wet weather.

I bought these to use during a motorcycle ride in case it rained. Thank God, I bought these because we did encounter a mild storm and this along with my rain suit kept me perfectly dry.
