This product is extremely well built and good for the price point. It fits perfectly with the boom arm from Elgato that I purchased. It has a very sleek look and was very easy to install. It functions as intended, as long as you make sure that you have the proper software for the mic itself as the Wave picks up a lot of sound. Highly recommended this shock mount!

Worked fine for a few months then the end that screws onto the mic arm snapped whiling moving my mic making it unusable

The shock mount itself is nice, however; if you want to mount this to the Elgato Wave mic stand, the included adapter that threads into the shock mount and then on to the mic base is the wrong thread size. The mic base is 1/4 and the ID of the adapter is 3/8. If you have a different mic stand or arm with a 3/8 or 5/8 thread then this shock mount will work fine. The fix is, either just buy the Elgato Shock Mount that comes with two adapters, one of which fits the Elgato mic stand - or source the correct adapter. If mounting to the Wave mic stand just buy the Elgato brand, if mounting to a different 3/8 stand or boom get this one and save $10
