Instructions for use:

This wax melt was extremely helpful for our wedding name cards. I was able to warm up enough wax to do a few stamps and by the time the stamps were cured, the next batch of wax was melted. Definitely worth the value for how I used it and how much I used it.

Got this item for making wax seals. It works beautifully for that and I don't have to worry about accidentally knocking it over in an over crowded craft room, or kitties getting curious and fur getting singed. I do wish it had a bit longer cord because I use it in plug near the floor and it doesn't leave much room to push it back from the edge of the table. A plug in a wall near the desk top would be ideal and the cord would be just fine, but I have to work with what I have, so no reflection on the item itself. It gets hot pretty quickly and, being that it's winter at the time I'm typing this review, it cools down pretty quickly too. I can't say how long it will last as the outer portion of it is plastic, but it seems like it should hold up pretty well with the use that I will give it (not several hours at a time or every single day).

Might be better to have 2 so you can heat 2 colors.No smoke or smoke damage like flames. Some wooden holders for flames can catch on fire.

This appliance is cute, but it takes a long time to melt the wax pellets for seals. I compared it to using my votive candle and stand and the candle won. But, the cleaning up of the crucible is a pain using a candle that makes soot on the outside. So, if you are patient, and only one to make 1 seal, the electric warmer is the way for you to go.
