This iron heats up fast and holds its temperature well as you use it. It was easy to use. Only two improvements that could be made:1) You set the temperature in fahrenheit, and then the display shows it to you in Celsius. Kind of awkward, but a known "feature" as there is a fahrenheit/celsius converter in the instructions. It's especially awkward if the iron is hot when you adjust, as the reading will then need to "tick" down 1-by-1 from the fahrenheit temperature to the celsius temperature (i.e. it will tick from 200 F to 93 C), which will take 10ish seconds.2) It's big enough for this board, but for my ultrawide board, it is slightly too narrow to get the wax melted in 3 passes. So, I either need to do 4 passes, or do the center pass in "drift" mode sideways. I think an extra half inch of width would be enough (that's what she said).

Most things about this iron are great! It holds an even temperature across the entire face of the iron. The biggest drawback I've found is the stand is a bit unstable as there is only one position that leaves the handle easily grabable where it will stay upright.
