WHAT WE DO
Wazakura Japan has been delivering since 2019 Japanese bonsai and ikebana tools worldwide.
We were born not only wanting to make quality tools accessible worldwide, but aiming to keep Japanese crafts alive as well. That is why all of our tools are designed & manufactured in local Japanese workshops.
We want you to enjoy a little taste of Japan at home with tools 100% Made in Japan by skilled local artisans.

We believe in doing business successfully but also responsibly. A business should not only be accountable for its financial results, but also for what it provides to the community. Doing good is as important as doing well.
Wazakura Japan integrates the skills of Japanese artisans and blacksmiths with our design and marketing experience. This way we make these traditional crafts more accessible to the present day consumer.
But, most importantly, we contribute to keep these unique and traditional crafts working methods alive in modern times, helping the communities that dedicate their livelihood to them.
WHO WE WORK WITH
In Wazakura Japan we aspire to provide a better connection to Japanese artisans for a more meaningful buying. Our tools and accessories are only manufactured in Japan with all the quality and durability that the country has been known for always in mind.
For this vision to be a reality and ensure that our strict production standards are respected, we scouted around Japan for responsible skilled craftsmen that shared our same vision. And we did find them all around the country, in the cities of Sanjo (Niigata Prefecture) and Tokoname (Aichi Prefecture).
Instead of mass produce simple products, these artisans and blacksmiths use the same techniques passed down by generations. As a result, their tools are carefully designed and improved over-the-centuries with every single detail taken into account.
So you can have in your hands incredible and unique pieces that are much more than just tools.

Made in Japan: Real Japanese ikebana kenzan hand forged in Sanjo city, Niigata prefecture by artisans with more than 50 years of experience.

Sturdy and heavy. I've used it for the first time this week. It was able to hold these massive branches sideways without tilting. Perfect.

My use for this is different then might be expected. I will be using this Wazakura Japanese Ikebana Kenzan Long Rectangular Flower Holder for Lampwork. You use a "frog" or flower arranger in Lampwork to create air bubbles within your piece. Whether for a glass paperweight to a glass bead this is an important tool to have. You need to have brass needles minimum and this one states "The base and needles of this Japanese kenzan flower frog are made of high grade brass". I am so glad I found this quality "frog" the workmanship is top notch. Whether using this for flower arranging or your Lampwork you will be impressed.

I admit that I'm a beginner/aspiring hobby flower-arranger, but I'm really impressed by this flower holder. It's very heavy so I don't doubt the flowers will hold up, the pins are perfectly sized for large and mid sized flowers, and they're also solid and long enough to hold the stems upright. I'm pretty surprised to find something like this on Amazon, and it was reasonably priced as well. Really glad I found it.

Ich habe es für die Deko einer eckigen Außenlaterne benötigt. Die gesteckten Kiefernzweige halten gut darin, da es ein recht schweres Eigengewicht hat und die "Stacheln" schön dicht angebracht sind. Für meinen Zweck war zudem die längliche Form ausschlaggebend. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es jedoch für den beachtlichen Preis und so hoffe ich, dass es sehr lange eingesetzt werden kann, ohne zu rosten o.ä.
