Our old model did not have a middle lid, and we are not using a middle lid on the new basket. The two end lids open and close securely, but the middle lid seems a bit flimsy. It's great to no longer deal with broken bottoms. The new basket is a really nice upgrade at a low cost.

These dishwasher utensil holders don’t seem to last long before they go through the bottom. This is a replacement one.

Works fine but it moves a lot and could use a clip to hold it in place in the dishwasher tray.

DON’T BUY. After a five months of usage, a few pieces of the bottom are braking, allowing utensils to fall through. Probably will only get worse. Too late to return. I will not buy this product again and I do not recommend it.

The basket can fit into all four sides of the bottom of the dishwasher. It’s easy to move it around to accommodate your dishes. The top of the basket has three different compartments that open and shut independently of each other; two smaller ones on the side and a larger one in the middle. It is also important to note that the middle lid can be easily removed and reattached if necessary. This makes configuring your utensils and small bits very easy and practical. This was the exact piece we needed for our old dishwasher. We couldn't afford to replace the dishwasher but needed this basket. It is very sturdy and well made and has held up to lots of dishwashing every night! So glad we found it on Amazon at such a great price.

Fits quite well in my 7 year old GE dishwasher rack. Higher capacity then the OEM. The slots for the flatware are slightly smaller. I have some flatware that has a very wide flare on end of handle. They do not fit through the slot. However most flatware probably would. I have a mixed assortment and most did fit without a problem. The only issue I have is the middle door does not have a positive latch. When unloading the flatware it wants to lift up. All in all I am okay with the product.
