This is my second review of TerraSlate paper products. My first review was for 5 mil waterproof labels, and I've been using them in a high-touch public environment for months now where they barely show any wear and tear at all. It's pretty astounding, because a normal label would have worn off almost immediately - these lasted well and are still in great condition. I'm sold on the product. When you open a package of TerraSlate paper, inside is a demo sheet made out of 5mil material. As I did last time, I tried valiantly to destroy it without much success. I tried tearing it - but it wouldn't tear with just the strength of my bare hands. I tried crumpling it up, and it got a few creases but recovered well. And I tried pouring a sugary soda on it, and it rolled right off as if it was coated in Rain-X. Astounding. This particular listing is for 10 mil A4 paper. This is unique in two ways: 10 mil is very thick, like the kind of card stock you'd use to bind a small product manual or to create a quick reference card; I measured it is accurate at 0.01 inches / 0.25 millimeters thick. (A mil is a hundredth of an inch - it's an odd unit of measure, but common in the publishing world.)More importantly, A4 is also a metric paper size, and is NOT the same 8.5"x11" letter-sized paper you're used to in the US - it's actually 8.27"x11.7". This isn't a problem if you're working with international documents or are designing around this constraint, but if you're just trying to print a document you've created in the US, you probably want one of the other TerraSlate paper listings that's in US Letter size instead. If you need highly resilient, thick paper in this size, this is an exceptional product. It really is worth the money.

I'm a Rocketbook user and had been anticipating when I could create my own personal pages. After ages of procrastinating, trying to make the "perfect" page that would be everything I wanted, I finally gave in and tried a pre-designed template. My printer is a fairly new HP LaserJet printer, so it was really disappointing to get these results. Picture #1 was done at 1200 dpi, set for heavy paper (90 -130) and manual feed. Picture #2 used the same settings, but set for extra heavy paper. Both resulted in patches of toner failing to fuse to the paper, creating echos further down the page when it did finally fuse, and large speckles of random toner. Picture #3 was set for 600 dpi, plain paper & manual feed. None of the settings produced a usable page, unfortunately. I didn't tank the review because my printer just may not 'like' the paper, but that also reflects badly on the paper that an HP LaserJet is having issues. If I get a chance, I'll try it in another printer or copier and revise my rating if the results are better.

I love stone paper. I have notebooks made with stone paper, but this is the first time I've seen it made for printers. This was just a little large for my printer, so I had to adjust the drawer, which hasn't been done for something like 15 years. But when I hit the print button, it had no problem making it through my printer without any hang-ups. It is expensive, so if it's going to be used, don't waste it, make sure it's used for important documents. It feels very industrial, almost like plastic. My mom will love using these for alcohol ink paintings.

This is nice good thick paper for business cards or to make a resume stand out with paper that's a different feel. It's only like a sample sized amount of paper though and it's ridiculous the price is what it is. I thought I was getting a regular amount of paper for the price. Better off just going to an office supply store.

I don't have a laser printer, but I have a Rocketbook, and the way that the paper was being talked about, sounded like the way that they make the Rocketbook paper, and being able to add to the Rocketbook with my own papers and templates sounded like a great plan! The TerraSlate paper is a little stiffer and smoother, it reminds me of negatives or Xray film, Very smooth. I tried every marker and pencil/colored pencil that I had on it and most will either erase off or wash off easily, A few things, like sharpie markers or Prismacolor markers are permanent. It's just a tad to slick for the Frixion pens to work correctly. Over all a great artistic experiment and I'm going to be using the paper for art projects, instead!Oh, I ran it under running water for over a minute, and not a buckle or wrinkle!

This paper works really well! It's nice and thick, and stands up well to snow or light mist. I am a teacher and got this to use for outdoor bus duty and dismissal. If it is raining heavily, we dismiss from inside, but if it is snowing or raining lightly, we dismiss from outside and I need to see and mark papers for buses arriving or parents picking up kids, depending on which duty I am assigned. I'm not sure how it would stand up as a sign in the rain, but does well for tasks where it might get slightly moist. The biggest disadvantage is price, though. It's a very small sample of papers for the price. You'd be better off laminating regular paper for much less for probably most applications I could think of. If this goes on sales, I'd consider it.
