The material is very soft and the item is well made. Zippers move smoothly. I love the color. It fits a Japanese dense mattress that I’d leave on the floor.

I have a thin futon from ikea. This fit it perfectly and looks very nice.

Fairly stretchy, but with the opening at the head/foot of the mattress. I was really amazed at how well this futon cover slipped onto the mattress. My twin mattress is more of a filled traditional type, rather than a foam trifold, so I anticipated a struggle. I found it easier to get on that the side closure covers I have.Cleaning isn't bad, but it should be washed on cold and alone to prevent damage, which I suspect might be pilling. Made of synthetic fiber, it seems like it would release stains and soil with ease.While the weave is appealing to look at, the texture does take time to get used to. The woven texture is also not very friendly with dry and cracked feet.I also notice that it's a bit roomy on my mattress, standard twin, making me wonder if it would be possible for an XL twin.

I am new to using a futon, and there are differences between a futon and a mattress, such as fitted sheets, that don't seem to exist for futons for several reasons, so a futon cover is required.I was expecting the same struggle I have when putting a pillow into a pillowcase, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to put on. Easier, even, than putting fitted sheets on a mattress.I like that this is machine washable and protects the futon from dirt and stains (if removed quickly enough). I will still put a flat sheet over it and sleep on that because I'm just used to sleeping on a sheet and the texture of the cover might bother me, and also for an extra layer of protection for the futon.

This textured futon cover looked as if it would be scratchy at first but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it has a soft feel and texture to it upon opening. The cover itself stretches slightly due to the design but isn't overly stretchy or warpable.There is a zipper at the bottom which makes it very easy to tell what side is the top and bottom of it. The zipper is not covered or hidden but I don't mind that. The grey was true to colour and it was very comfortable on my Japanese futon as it fit perfectly. Washing was very easy as well; I washed it on cold and then tumble dried low. You can hang to dry but do not wash or dry it in hot water or it will shrink.I think overall, if you're looking for a nice futon cover that is affordable, this is an excellent choice. I've been using it for a week now and it's held up two washes without any issues. :)

Zipper looks sturdy and stitching is tight. This is just a simple cover for a thin floor mattress. I slid the mat right in and zipped it up. It looks like it will hold up to some washings as well.

The fabric is cheap and snags easily with pets. A little pricey for what you get in my opinion

I've only washed it once, so it might get softer over time, but the material is a little scratchy. That doesn't bother me too much because I'm more concerned about the durability and overall fit and look, which are great! If a futon mattress cover is made out of soft fabric, it will stretch out and not hold its shape, or be durable for a long time. Also, this is a very stain-resistant fabric, which is a good quality for anything in our home.
