Love this blanket. I've trusted Weaver products for decades and they do not disappoint by putting their name on this ProCool blanket. We have FFA show goats and lambs and I have an assortment of sizes for each breed. A must in the Texas heat during summer show season to keep the animals protected during transport or to keep off dust & dirt. Easy care, wash on gentle cycle and hang to dry. Would recommend this product to anyone who shows goats or lambs. My recommendation would also be to get one in ea size to grow with your animals. They really last. Hint, we muzzle ours on the way to shows so that helps keep them from being nibbled on quite so much.

We have show Nigerian Dwarf goats, so we show clip our goats. We have one doe that has extremely fair skin and her skin burns (with blisters) when we clip her. We tried sunscreen and other temporary solutions, but her skin still got pink or slightly burned. We found the solution (and peace of mind) in this fabulous item! This fit was snug enough that it would not fall off or be ripped off by the other goats but not so tight that she couldn't run, jump, and play. It kept her cool in the 90+ degree weather this summer, there was no chaffing, and she didn't seem to mind it. I absolutely recommend this to anyone with a fair-skinned goat!

Perfect choice for keeping our body clipped dairy goats warm for fair, it’s not such a heavy blanket that it doesn’t breathe however keeps the chill off and fits very well, which was also a concern when ordering. I was concerned to find one big enough for our 180lb doe but the xxl did. I’ll be buying more to keep on hand especially since it will help keep bugs off for later summer shows also.

very good quality and workmanship, good price and would have been perfect for my Nubean goats, except this X- large was still not large enough and I had to send them back. One of the items even came a few days faster than expected. I am sad that this item does not come larger.

I bought a large for my Nigerian Dwarf buck. It was a snug fit over his head although the body was okay for length. I figured I would buy another in an XL but didn't notice I had selected a Sheep Pro Cool blanket. I will just say there's a huge size difference, and I have now ordered a Small size for the Sheep blanket and expecting that to fit my buck nicely. I wanted to share a photo just in case you are buying for a large breed. I would definitely go with the Sheep blanket if that's the case. For Nigerian does, I expect the M and L in the Goat blanket sizes would work well. I was quite surprised by the size difference between the Sheep and Goat sizes. Overall the Goat blanket works well, but there are already several holes from my buck rubbing on the fence while wearing it.

It was a high quality item. It just wouldn't work for me because there is no ability to open the front. It's an over the head product.
